Good. Quiet and good room Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and helpfull.

The hotel lobby and hallways to my room smelt very strongly of Indian food on arrival. Once in my room the smell was not present, the room was comfortable, but a little cold. Breakfast was good and plentiful and staff were friendly and welcoming. The Italian restaurant attached Sloanes is excellent, but eat early as the kitchen closes at 9pm. I felt a little rushed entering at 8.30pm, but the evening porter/receptionist was lovely and continued the restaurant service.

The staff were great. Management were berating staff on our departure .. totaly unprofessional. The hotel was in darkness when we arrived at 8pm. The bar next door had our room key. There were residents who were either drunk or drugged up and even threatened us with a hold up "joke" when we were sat in the bar waiting for dinner. We took our dinner to the bedroom. The room was ok but bathroom was tiny with not enough room for a bath.. this was not on the booking. We did not go for breakfast as felt too threatened.

The hotel is really well situated, there is off road parking and the staff are really helpful. I had room 215 and the bed was 2 single beds pushed together, unfortunately one of the single mattresses seemed to have had considerable more wear than the other, this caused a rather disturbed sleep due to the inbalance.

Very freindly staff, a lovley room and quiet seeing that its by the station and busy road.

It is in the centre of Wakefield and has good parking and a good Italian restaurant. Only has rooms with showers, which I hadn't noticed when I booked. I like a bath.

Nice Hotel. Excellent Dinner and Breakfast with efficient and curtious waiting staff. Spacious room with a compact ensuite shower. The room was clean but the queen size bed could have been more comfortable. Overall, we would stay there again.

Convenient location, helpful staff. Making a real effort but can't overcome all the problems posed by the building (en suite sufficient but not exactly spacious.)

Nobody on reception open arrival and waited 10 mins for someone to arrive. Room was dated and lack of storage bathroom had been redone. Breakfast was a disgrace sausage was off bacon and egg was well over cooked toast was burnt. Beans were cold along with the mushrooms.

The location and the staff were both excellent. The included beakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel and very comfortable

There were none of the little touches that make a stay special. This hotel had a basic competence. Breakfast choice was limited, though there were not many guests staying.

Ok hotel does what it says on the tin. Breakfast could be better.

Great location and easy to find. Parking was great. The only minor issue was the breakfast. The beans Had a very odd tast to them almost like they were off or heavy with vinegar. The portion control was very sparse and when I asked for a bacon and sausage sandwich on brown bread I received one sausage and one bacon between two pieces of dried whit toast. So not that great when it comes to the breakfast. But otherwise a good hotel in a great location.

Not very good I'm afraid. Wakefield is superb but the hotel is average at best.

Great hotel handy for station and shopping. Plenty of eating places around. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this hotel
