This was one of the best places we’ve stayed while traveling. The location is great and the kanulhuset is a beautiful place that captures the hygge mindset of Denmark. The bar, community dinners and nice amenities add to the wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

First off, this is one of the most beautiful, artistic, and distinct hotels I have stayed at. It's right in the middle of everything in Copenhagen (a great city) and amongst the beautiful canals and boats. As a big plus, my hotel room got upgraded to a full apart that was totally unbelievable and fantastic. I'll remember it for the rest of my life. The folks who run this hotel are very serious about making it an outstanding landmark. And it wasn't particularly expensive. Man, I loved staying there!

Had the family style diner there twice. Once beef and potatoes and next time had a vegetarian meal, both good. Staff was excellent and go out of there way for their guests.

Such a cute hotel, they were intentional and thought of the small details and provide amazing support. Our room, bed and washroom were very large, compared to other hotel rooms we had stayed in during our trip to Denmark and Sweden.

This hotel is amazing, staff are great, my basement room was very cosy, great location and great activities.

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. The views from the front of the building were beautiful and looked out into the canal. There was a communal dinner every night at 7:00 if you feel social and want to meet other people. The lobby area was beautiful. The only thing that might make people think twice about staying there is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. So, if you tend to be hot natured, just be aware of the temperature for the time that you will be there. They do provide fans in the room, so that helped. Otherwise, the place is perfect.

An amazing hotel with a “home away from home” feeling in a great and picturesque neighborhood
