Lovely place. Staff professional. Pillows very soft. And small. Food pricey.

Set in a wonderful location. The food at the restaurant is amazing. However, the rooms are very small and spartan. Showers are terrible. Wi-fi is also very slow. Gym facilities bare bones.

Staff did not provide comprehensive welcome upon check-in: spa access policy, internet connectivity, dinner and breakfast options, luggage assistance, etc. Beautiful property, however.

Lovely spa/pool area, so allow the time to enjoy those and figure in the extra costs to the budget! Rooms and beds are small and feel ‘historic’, but suited us fine.

This hotel can best be appreciated if you allow time after check-in to explore the property. Since it was originally a rehabilitation facility for tuberculosis patients, there are wonderful paths surrounding the main building -- one of which leads to an overlook of a fjord - to encourage exercise. The large deck off the back of the building is a relaxing space to spend some time. Rooms are adequate -- beds comfortable. We had two double standard rooms -- one was much larger than the other and both had views of the parking lot. We did not use the spa facilities since we were only there for one night, but this is probably the main reason to book this hotel. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

I couldn't find a place in Denmark with thermal baths so I gave up on that search only to find out about this place when I was curious about Vejlefjord. We LOVED this place. We were so sad to leave after one night. We'll be back for sure!

This hotel is an old Sanatorium. It is a lovely old hotel and building, but does need upgrading. Our room was fine but the bathroom was small and basic, and you step back into the days it was a Sanatorium. We were only there for one night, we didn't use the spa. The staff were very helpful.

Overnight stay. Fabulous spa complex but would have been better if it could have been included as a package through Hotels.com. DKK450 per person only covered from check-in to 10pm, not 24hrs.

the scenery was beyond amazing, the spa was over the top fabulous. I wish they would have made it possible to pay for the room ahead of time-as I like to have my trips paid for ahead of time. the only thing I did not care for, was the bed, it was a crummy bed with no blanket. there was a comforter type thing that did not cover you...the room was very warm, so it was not a big deal, but no top sheet. I still slept ok, but the mattress was not a good quality mattress. with all that being said, I would definitely stay there again because the grounds were great to take a walk, or go hiking, see the beach and just enjoy nature. the spa was one of the best I have ever been to. I just wish the mattress was better and they had a coffee pot in the room as most hotels do. the dinners were good, not much for a vegetarian. the breakfast was included and over the top delicious and so so good. I ate too much.

First impressions of the hotel were good, beautiful surroundings, main building very nice looking. I was put in the annex which seems to be some kind of treatment centre? My room was equipped for a disabled person, bare walls, no attempt at creating any ambiance at all. It literally felt like I was in a hospital room, quite creepy really. The restaurant only offered one set meal, though the chef was kind enough to prepare a vegetarian meal for me. I'm sure the rooms I the main building are ok, but don't stay in the annexe.

There were no triple or quadruple room and we were travelling with childrens.
