We actually chose not to stay here and left early. In full transparency, we never called the owners to let them know we were disappointed in the accommodations. Expedia needs to update how these accommodations work. The inn is made up of three different properties. Depending on the room you choose, you could be placed in a building across the street from the main inn. We found ourselves in the Post Office. The inside was fine, but the outside needs updating: Duct tape on window screens and peeling paint. There was no one in the building, no lights on, and it felt like an inn that was closed for the season. Maybe we booked during down time, but the woman who checked us in gave us little information about the grounds and didn’t seem to know if there would be breakfast in the morning. We did receive a message through Expedia from the owners, but I didn’t see it until much later. Our bathroom was down the hall and needed a separate key to enter. The bed was not Comfortable, and our room overlooked a main street with much car noise. We tried to find the woman who checked us in to see if we could switch rooms, but couldn’t find anyone. Again, we didn’t call. Everything was clean, but didn’t feel very comfortable or welcoming. It might be very different during the busy season or when the restaurant is open. Since we were only a few hours from home, we decided to leave and eat the money. I booked because of the exceptional reviews, but that wasn’t our experience.

The place was charming and immaculate. It was so tastefully decorated with all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious, modern cuisine. Jake and Caroline were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We intend to return for a whole weekend very soon.

John was an amazing host. Food was 5+ stars. Service amazing. This “town” is rural and the place is quaint not modern but I had a fantastic visit. Great spot to stay and see a show at Bethel Woods.

We enjoyed our stay at The North Branch Inn. It was lovely and charming. The decor is interesting. An old time feel to this friendly place. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The room was well organized and renovated but not too modern that it lost its original look and country feel. We loved it and are looking forward to returning again.

For me, this was a great find! I don't like glitz and glamour. The whole facility was quaint and charming. Lots of rustic touches making it a very comfortable and easygoing stay. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with most, if not all, local produce and products.

Beautiful, quaint inn with good service. Didn’t get a chance to eat dinner but it smelled good. Breakfast was delicious. Only complaint was water pressure in shower, but overall excellent. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed the quiet setting, clean, bright and fresh room, lovely breakfast and the proximity to Bethel Wood Art and Culture Center and surrounding areas was perfect. The only glitch was the water pressure and temperature. The rain shower was a nice feature, the water pressure was uncomfortable limited to a light trickle... we managed for the one morning we were there. Had we stayed for more then 1 night we would have reported to the innkeeper. This would not keep us from returning, overall it was a very nice experience.

The food at the inn was really delicious and our room was cozy and spacious. We had a couple hiccups where the hot water kept running out but they were quick to get in contact with a plumber. The inn is right on a highway so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!

We were thrilled with our stay. The North Branch Inn is the epitome of rustic charm and only a pretty 2 1/4 hour drive from New York City. All three buildings that make up the Inn are charming with that smell of wood. We loved the restaurant for both dinner (make sure you make a reservation) as well as the included breakfast. Our room was quaint, comfortable, and quiet. We also noticed if you so desire you can get a room that also has a living room with a couch for reading. The staff could not have been kinder and friendlier from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. We will be back!
