Their tv is only French no English station an is very bad for international hotel

Hotel was clean. Staff very helpfull. Its secure with security agents. Breakfast could have a few more choices. Can be noisy with the circulation and all the "honking".

I recently stayed at Mavilla Hotel in Cotonou, Benin, and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. A standout feature was the personalized service I received—upon arrival, I was picked up at the airport, and the hotel’s director and proprietor personally drove me back to the airport at the end of my stay. This level of attention to detail truly sets Mavilla Hotel apart. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cotonou.

Surprisingly comfortable hotel for the price point, with huge plush king beds, and modern furnishings. I had a few issues with mosquitoes in the room, but was able to locate them and take care of them before sleeping. They are present in the hallways due to the door being open from time to time. But it did not affect my stay, and the room was very comfortable and the air conditioner powerful. The bathroom was clean and a well above average. If you’re looking for the closest thing to western standards in Benin, this is your opportunity to enjoy that for a fraction of what it would cost back home. The breakfast was average but decent. I only wish they provided actual coffee and not instant coffee.
