To the Management of Bali Beach Hotel,
I deeply regret that a hotel of your stature has such poor service. I waited for almost two hours. Only two of the three rooms we booked were available. Okay, fine if it was just a matter of waiting. When room number three was ready (which took another hour, meaning I waited almost four hours), there was a compliment that wasn't mine and whoever it belonged to.
It's unfortunate that when we went downstairs to complain, the manager said, "Just give me the compliment. Just give it already!" in front of us and didn't even introduce himself before I stopped him.
The staff member who mentioned the "dinner invitation" (which I didn't accept, considering I felt slighted by the four hours I wasted and they thought dinner was the solution), when I asked about it, said, "Oh, dinner is dinner." It was truly disappointing.
Really, I've been to many places and countries, but this was my worst experience with service.
Luckily, the staff who handled my next complaint (the lady at the counter) did a great job of providing a solution. The rest, especially the one who served me initially, was terrible.
