Everything was as expected - ultimately easy check in and room was spacious and nice. Would return and recommend.

The hotel is well located in an upscale neighborhood close to Ayer Brygge. We reserved a room with 2 beds and there was no mention in the description that one of the beds was a chair sofa bed that needed to be converted by the guests. There was a strange odor when you turned on the sink faucet, the TV had no signal, and there was a loud creaking noise from a gate outside. Otherwise, the Filip self-service hotel is renovated, tastefully decorated, and comfortable.

Elegant rooms with a modern vibes. Easy and short walk to many restaurants and shops in Aker Brygge.

Didn't feel like a hotel but a spacious apartment. I would be happy to have breakfast and room re arrangement. Was stressed about the no reception automated keys but I survived it.

Everything about this hotel is weird. Only after you book, you realize that there is zero staff to help with anything. My room was quite small, had really low ceilings and barely any natural light. Definitely never staying there again.

We had an excellent time and the accomdations were lovely! The services were tip top!

App for entry difficult to use - me and several people stuck outside while I was there. Roof windows in my room had no blinds Sun set 22:43, sun rise 03:54 and it never actually got dark. Very poor sleep until I bought an eye mask. No restaurant of any kind.

Very unusual venue. Not really a proper Hotel. Everything is done with the mobile phone/internet and there is no easy way to contact someone. Everything could be ok if you just need a place to sleep (nice rooms btw) and you are arriving late in the afternoon and departing in the morning. But if you need to check in sooner than 3pm or leave a bag in storage. It’s simply not possible.

Unfortunately no breakfast option in the hotel. The bathroom was very tight but clean and modern.

Beyond pleased with absolutely everything of this hotel. The room, its decor, its location , its soaps and creams. Wish I could live here forever.

Bad experience booking through Expedia as it is a no staff hotel so had to register and book though their clunky app when I arrived, which kind of spoils the whole prebooking via a platform approach.

Great location, lovely new apartments, very comfortable room. However, frustrating changing door codes, only 1 working washer/dryer, no floor cleaning for 6 days, random room cleaning and towel changing, got very tedious.

Great location for a visit to Oslo. All instructions sent upfront and was very easy.

Very modern with individual door codes for each guest. Very close to Aker Brygge, which is a great place to eat out and soak up the atmosphere. Close to the centre with transport links, but walkable too. Great place to stay

The only negative thing was that I couldn’t get the aircon to work and it was a very warm and humid weekend!

Hotel Filip was modern and a short walk up from Aker Brugge and the water. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The toiletries were of a high standard. Our only criticism was the TV, as we couldn’t work out how to use it, but that was an us problem:) Highly recommended.

Shockingly beautiful interior and quiet location given its proximity to busy road and cheaper prices than more central hotel locations. We were so happy staying at Hotel Filip! Beds are super comfy, rooms are very spacious and facilities are updated. Remote check in was seamless. Only complaint is housekeeping never came to our room. Location is walkable despite appearing kind of out of the way on Google Maps. Thank you Hotel Filip, we will be back!

Fully stocked kitchen has no microwave No cover/curtain/blind on window above the door so summertime « nights » in Norway can be bright - not sure they’ve thought about it. Absolutely no way of having a left luggage facility or information. Otherwise a very clean and quiet property but I am not going to stay here again.

Property is very well appointed, very handy for river front and nice walk to the Centre
