Lovely hotel , great location and affordable. Only issue the beds are far too soft.

Hotel is lovely, bed comfy but I asked to be put somewhere quieter if possible and my room was directly outside the lifts and as there is no door between the lifts and rooms I could hear the lift ping every time and people chatting all night

Nice bar and amenities, room clean and tidy, however; Door needed slamming to close fully and because of this wasnt fully locked after housekeeping left.

Convenient for railway station and places to eat. Spotless room, tea and coffee etc. Excellent value for money

We stayed at Motel One yesterday and were left dissatisfied with their customer care. Upon arrival we attempted to check in only to be advised their systems were down. We had a tight turnaround with a dinner reservation which had left us about a 30 minute window to get into the room and get changed for dinner. The staff were extremely discourteous and did not offer a drink while we waited for their systems to come back online. They claimed it wasn’t their fault, even though it clearly was and we were the ones inconvenienced. We were offered no discount or any proper apology as despite speaking to a manager and emailing a complaint I have received no discourse. This has definitely put me off staying there in the future, along with being questioned on arriving back at the property after 11pm as their card reader to unlock the door does not work. All in all, probably the worst service I have ever encountered at a hotel.

Great hotel. Clean, modern and well appointed rooms. Very lovely staff and feels very luxurious for a very well priced hotel. It's situated perfectly for the centre of Newcastle. I will return

Great location as close to the Station and City Centre / Eldon Square. Second time we have stayed at the Hotel and will definitely return again. Staff are very pleasant and the rooms are spotless and beds and pillows are so comfortable!!
