The hotel staff was actually friendly, but the boss who communicated with us made us uncomfortable and didn't understand the situation.
We were constantly being questioned about our number of people exceeding the hotel's regulations, even though we had already stated that the rest of us would be leaving the hotel. The friendly staff called the boss, and I heard him say, "If you see them breaking the rules, you'll charge them."
We and our 1-year-old baby had already been asked to go into our hotel room. It was freezing and raining heavily at 10:30 PM WITA. The rest of us weren't staying inside.
After the rest of our family and I had stayed outside, they still chatted at 11:21 PM WITA, explaining that if we broke the rules, we would be charged the price of the entire room.
Poor communication, not prioritizing engagement and providing a pleasant experience, but rather seeming to be money-oriented.
Note: Water splashed into the room due to heavy rain from outside.
