We ate at the hotel for dinner, and the food was great. Easy access to the tram to go donwtown. Easy parking. Clean rooms

Limited sites, parking not easiest to find, Normandy Omaha was close

Very lovely stay, we arrived after 10pm and was greeted at the front desk by the helpful and friendly staff, whilst in the room we noticed they use paper cups instead of mugs for tea or coffee, would recommend using your own mugs luckly we took some with us plus the tea bags as they only have Earl Grey. Apart from that it was a very lovely quiet stay we all enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

The rooms are smaller than expected especially if there are 3 people staying in one room. The WiFi did not work at all which was a real let down as when booking it was highlighted that the WiFi was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Helpful friendly receptionist, smallish room but comfortable beds, small bathroom and shower. Rooms a bit stuffy could use some Aircon.

We used this hotel for a trip to the D-Day beaches, great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I would greatly recommend and stay there again. With a restaurant serving good food and close to the main road it’s a great combined package.

Extremely comfortable room shower was fine just a little small. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel is very convenient for the hospital and the staff pleasant and welcoming. However, the lighting in the room is poor and the shower tiny and awkward. The room also had no temperature control and was quite hot.

Ideal for our ferry trip into Caen. Just ideal for our needs of a night stopover and then set off for a full days drive south. Clean and convenient. Liked the 24 hour concierge.

This small hotel was ideally located near the hospital where my brother is having a long term treatment. Everything was small but efficient. Brekfast lunch and diner available which is practical as there are not any amenities close by. Clean bedroom and bathroom. I enjoyed my stay. Pity they closed during the week end

Always stay here when in Caen - the very best!

I am actually reviewing retrospectively as wasn’t able to use my booking due to new quarantine restrictions- however, I have stayed here many times and always found it to be excellent in every way - perfect for an overnight stay en route to or from the ferry

Stayed at the Carline for 1 night on way to ferry port Friendly reception and bar staff Although we didn't use the restaurant it offered a good value A la Carte menu Free parking & WiFi Bedroom not enormous but adequate Modern bathroom and shower Kettle and coffee supplied Will most certainly stay on our next trip later this year

Good place to stay for the sort of visit we were on. We visited the coast one day and hopped on the nearby tram the next. Room was fine but would benefit from a small fridge to keep water cool.

The shower cubicle was not suitable for a larger person as only a small opening. There was no hair dryer in the room very basic but clean and good staff
