It was an odd experience (but nice, nevertheless). We checked in very late at 1:30 AM and we didn't find any one in the front room. We had to write a note and leave it at the front desk that we self checked-in and picked a room (with key in the lock and amenities already prepared inside, so we figured it was for us). The room itself is clean and very good for the price. We didn't find anyone at the front room the day after, either, from morning to afternoon. So we self-checked out, as well. It's the most... unique experience I've had at a hotel. But it's a funny/amusing experience rather than annoying. Highly recommended, haha.
