The staff were lovely however, the room was less than ideal for the price point. There were stains on the walls and curtains as well as mold spores under the headboard. The bathroom had a lot of mold even on the shower head. To top it all off the light stoped turning on during the night luckily there was a functioning bedside lamp. For £95 for one night this was not worth that price point. There are hotels not too far I honestly recommend going there instead if you don’t mind the distance.

It is a Pubsetting hotel. Stayed one night was nice and quiet at night.

Easy to get to. Great brekkie for those who are not vegan. On arrival, had a spot of lunch. Would be nice to have more vegan options that didn't involve curry spices.

Nice country pub / hotel

Food was excellent, pub was nice, breakfast was nice. Room was nice and comfortable but bathroom let it down, toilet had not been flushed and was full of toilet paper, cold shower would not heat up tried everything and then basin in shower was blocked and filled with water quickly. Still a lovely old pub

Very nice location, great customer service, choice for B'fast & clean. The property needs big improvements as it can be very hot in summer days! fan was supplied but didn't help much, we had ground floor room couldn't leave the curtains & window open as no net to keep flies away and to have privacy as can see people traffic outside your room window. Lovely surroundings to have picnic.

Average facilities, carpet was not cleaned and the shower tray had mould all around and smelled of mould, the shower tray had dark grease type stuff and so we did not use the shower.

Great stop over for Stanstead only 20mins away. Friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms and excellent food

The riom was spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both were great!

Lovely stay - very good food (Dinner and Breakfast). Large room, comfortable bed and excellent shower (digital temperature controlled). Helpful staff. Large carpark - suitable for Airport stays too. Quiet area.

Whilst the rooms are well appointed, it's within an old building which shows particularly in places like the bathroom. Breakfast is served relatively late but myself and many of my fellow guests had to forego eating as a key member of staff was late and, even at 8.15 breakfast was not available. They did contact afterwards to apologise and offer a refund on the missed breakfast though. Most of the staff I spoke to were excellent with one or two notable exceptions who must have missed customer service training.

Rooms large & clean , corridor could do with a clean ( radiator window frames) Stayed in room 6 , no sound proofing what so ever with room 7 , everything could be heard ect. Not good when they turn the tv on at 6 am 🙈 Staff lovely & friendly.
