First, if you want to book a child over 5, you'll be charged for one person, so you'll need an extra bed or choose a room according to their requirements. Each room has a maximum. My 8-year-old child was charged an extra 120,000 Rupiah.
Second, bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush, as they don't provide them.
Third, I'm a bit wary of using their services because upon check-in, they warn you of a fine for any scribbles or stains on the sheets. So, check the mattress, pillows, and blankets before signing.
They refused to grant a request for a lower-level room, even though it was still available.
And worse, when it was time to check out, I called reception three times because I was in the shower and the water was off! They just told me to wait 30 minutes! My hair was full of shampoo, my child's was full of soap, so I ended up using drinking water. The water tank next to the hotel didn't automatically refill until it ran out 🥲, and the receptionist offered no solution, just told me to wait. Finding a customer service number was completely useless.
It's a shame that a beautiful place and great facilities aren't accompanied by quality service. Hopefully there will be improvements, honestly, your place is a great place to daydream.
However, the water and gecko droppings in the room should be addressed in the future.
