The hotel is nice and clean, but it just lacks an elevator.

We checked in before 2 p.m. and were accommodated at no additional charge. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and parking was secure. However, the room wasn't soundproof. Our room was also right next to the stairs, so we could hear footsteps and the sound of people going up and down the stairs to the third floor.

Very nice hotel, friendly hotel staff

This hotel doesn't quite deserve to be called a 2- or 3-star hotel. There are many shortcomings in the room security, and it lacks standard amenities like a kettle. There's no TV for entertainment in the room, and the room isn't soundproof (it's noisy), but the staff are all very friendly.

The hotel staff is very friendly, the service is fast, when we arrived the room was ready, we didn't have to wait long, the room was clean and fragrant, the location is very strategic, close to the culinary center and Jam Gadang, thank you D'hills hotel🙏😻 My suggestion is if possible on holidays or national holidays there is someone who can park the car so you can just leave the key at the receptionist😁

The hotel staff is very friendly, and access to the city is very easy.

Everything was fine, but access to the upper floors was via stairs, which could be a bit difficult for older or oversized guests. The room was quite okay, but lacked an electric kettle. The bathroom was very spacious, but I found it poorly constructed, leaving a lingering odor after use.

Staying here is comfortable, the rooms are clean, the location is strategically close to tourist and culinary centers, the receptionists are friendly and very helpful.

Friendly and good service, comfortable hotel

Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was big and comfortable for 1–2 people, and the bathroom was also spacious. However, the bathroom maintenance could be better, and there was a small stain on the bedsheet. The TV was also a bit hard to use. The hotel itself was clean, and the location is great, close to Jam Gadang and surrounded by other budget hotels. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were very polite, gentle, and helpful. Their service really made the experience better. For the price, it was worth it. With some improvements in room maintenance, this hotel would be even better.

The AC is not cold enough, maybe because of the weather on the hill, it's cold at night so it's enough, but during the day it's a bit cold, overall it's a really good hotel, worth the price

This hotel is seriously overclaiming its 3-star category. Simply put, it can be compared to other hotels of the same class, such as the Kawana Hotel in Padang. Although not perfect, it certainly qualifies as a 3-star hotel. If I may say, this doesn't deserve to be categorized as a hotel, let alone a 3-star hotel. It's more like a hostel or daily boarding house. All the 3-star features are inadequate. You name it: door access, like the basic room key, isn't generally accessible in hotels; the spring bed isn't like a hotel mattress; the sheets are torn, stained, and itchy; there's no Wi-Fi or TV/YouTube access at all; the bathroom is very basic (no water heater, no sink, just a wooden hanger, a standard toilet, etc.); there's no telephone, which is standard for hotels so customers can call the front desk, etc.; parking is very limited, so parallel parking is required on the side of the road; and footsteps outside the room are very audible, which is very disturbing when trying to rest peacefully. More specifically, I stayed in room 307, which has no elevator access to the 3rd floor.
