The bathroom stood out the most - all the furnishings and decor, nearly renovated - the food was very nice as well

Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.

A friendly olde worlde hotel set in rural Surrey Many of the beers have a very low carbon footprint, tasty brews made locally. Great stopping place en route to or from Gatwick.

Having had a 3 hour drive down, we were greeted with a smile and two delightful rooms. Crisp linen and a smile. Food was fabulous (try the scotch eggs). Beer was good and the conversation was great. Will come back when visiting family. Fully booked for Sunday lunch so make sure you book if coming to stay. Judging by the 3 courses we had well worth booking

Very nice pub, gooc food and beer. My room was very small but adequate for one night. Could have done with more than one veggie option on the menu, very nice.

Lovely Saturday night away up at Leith Hill. We arrived for a late lunch. We’d booked a double room for the night but when the staff saw our two Labradors - they gave us a much bigger room. Everyone was really friendly at the pub and the Plough is perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside around Coldharbour. The food was excellent and the service superb. Breakfast was really good. It feels really ‘different’ up there - lovely walks and stunning views. We’ll be back.

Great quirky pub with rooms in the Surrey hills. Cyclist paradise as we woke in the morning to hundreds stopping for a drink or refreshments. Only complaint that the pub closed early even for residents, however great homemade food.
