Bathroom needed some maintenance. Smelt damp skirting board rotting. Shower curtain didn’t appear clean. Other wise room bedding clean but needs refurbished. Also strange stayed for 3 nights and only if requested would room /toilet be cleaned.

Staff friendly, room airy and the addition of a fan very welcome. Helpful with parkin so we could see city after checkout.

Fabulous breakfast. Good position for cathedral.

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant any more except for breakfast. It's listed as having a restaurant and this is my one of my main criteria when booking a hotel. They do allow take away deliveries. The staff make up for the lacking of the hotel.

Friendly reception, easy check in. They don’t use fitted sheets so it felt like the sheets were not staying on properly. Otherwise great little hotel

Friendly welcome, comfortable room, and good breakfast. Dinner is a 29 minute walk away, but with a 20% discount, well worth the effort.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, courteous and professional. Asked if we'd been to the city before and gave us directions and places to eat.The room was clean and warm when we arrived. Would definitely consider staying again as it was only a 15min walk into the city centre.

Room was in need of an update in terms of decor and furnishings. It was adequate for a good nights rest.

I enjoyed my stay there … the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant (for breakfast) were brilliant; breakfast was excellent … topped by the hotel being a five minute walk to the Beacon Parkrun start/finish spot! Brilliant.
