Great stay/stop over, convenient restaurant.

Room nice, and staff very friendly... Food excellent Only down side was the cleanliness... The bed and bath was clean but lots of cobwebs about and drink marks on the window sill

Room was excellent, comfortable and well equipped, the coffee and press were a nice surprise. Had dinner at the pub which was quick, fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Took a stroll to the castle which was nice too. Would recommend

Exceeded expectations. The staff team were really friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and great coffee. We ate breakfast and dinner and had great food.we also atexat the bistro opposite which was great. Will definitely stay again.

Rooms here are great, each one is quirky in their own way, and a lovely touch to have radio playing in room as background music on arrival. The 2 ladies that greeted us on arrival were welcoming and showed us all (4 guests) to our rooms. Evening meal in the bar was great too, cold and frosty outside, the pub reminded me as something out of The Holiday!!!

The room was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. I had the full English breakfast which was well cooked and filling. My only complaint is the extra charge for the cup of tea. That was a bit stingy. English breakfast surely includes a cuppa. Well it does in every other hotel I have stayed in.

What a lovely Inn, friendly and helpful staff, a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back as it is a central place for so many visits. The room was really well equipped, iron, a hair dryer, a walk-in shower and very clean. Nice coffee and tea, with a cafetière...not the Nescafe crap. Not cheap tho...£18 for a white wine spritzer and a glass of wine...Save up
