This was my 2nd stay, 10 years apart. Still a beautiful hotel in a great location. Comfortable room and bed. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice location in Foix. However, it was very hot 38C when we stayed and the lack of airconditioning made sleeping difficult.

Old tired hotel that was overpriced considering the room was rather shabby

The entrance is on a quaint little square with a bunch of little streets coming in at odd angles. The hotel backs up on the river, and the breakfast room has an attractive view down the river to an old bridge, and up the river to the mountains. The stairs were attractive, so I didn't bother with elevator.

GOOD: - location in central Foix allows foot access to just about everything. - great staff - overall a nice, simple hotel. BAD: - cafe / bar / restaurant closed most days. - Breakfast is expensive for the minimal and only ‘okay’ food served. - rooms facing street can suffer from noise (shouting, vomiting, crying) as bars close - rooms get hot. Can only cool with open windows, and given street noise…

Very nice and soooo French. Something very special about this little place in a lovely little town. Not in the least ‘touristy’

Comfortable, quiet night with very friendly reception

Nice place with central location. Hotel is Comfortable and value for money. Parking is not free but you can park freely in the centre. Check in is bit late and this could improve the hotel. Amazing view and nice staff.

Nice and cozy, everything required in a hotel room, TV, fan, nice bathroom, great space, well lit, clean feel.

excellent restaurant, no air conditioning on very hot summer night

Staff were very helpful. It was quaint sitting in the enclosed balcony with a view along the river to the mountains.

It is a hotel located in the center of the city, next to the river. It has a restaurant with very good cuisine. The guy at the reception was very friendly at all times and gave us directions to visit interesting places around.

A beautiful hotel in the center of town, very well kept, clean and bathrooms weren't too small. A Bilingual staff ( Which as we found out in the more rural areas of France can be a challenge to find). Fabulous restaurant. Small caveats, being an older hotel and in a 300 year old building it should be no surprise the A/C in the rooms is non-existent, but thats true of most all hotels in the region, even new ones. Parking if you have a car will be a challenge, but not a hard one, just have to walk from the town center if one of the parking spots is unavailable near the door.

Great location and friendly staff

This hotel is full of character and beautifully situated on the banks of the river running through the lovely town of Foix. The public areas of the hotel are really nice, especially the restaurant. Our room was a little tired and the bathroom could do with some updating but it was clean and comfortable with good beds.

Nice, hotel right in town. Room was clean, furnishings a bit dated. New , updated very nice bathroom. Staff very helpful. Old fashioned hotel but in perfect character with this beautiful medieval town. Would definitely stay here again.

Dirty dusty room, the bed covers were filthy... No air conditioning on a hot night. However the staff were great, the location was good and the internet was very quick.
