What a lovely hotel! We only stopped for one night but could clearly see that this would be a relaxing setting for a longer stay. We particularly appreciated the courtyard area with many tables for enjoying a drink, take-out meal, or board game with a family. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within the immediate vicinity. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast was excellent!

Logis Hotel du Cygne est top! Our family (2 adults and 1 child) stayed there for 3 nights and we were pleasantly comfortable! PROS: Newly renovated room, affordable room, comfortable beds, big cabinets with enough space for 3 cabin baggage and 3 gym bags, heated swimming pool, next-door Carrefour Express where you can buy all daily necessities, 5 houses away from the nearest Pharmacie, 5 minutes away by walking to "Max Vauché Chocolatier", 2 streets away from "Cafe Commerce" great value for 20€ per person buffet, located in the middle of tourist spots (Chambord, Cheverny, Limoges, Blois), free use of refrigerator, polite and welcoming owners. CONS: Bad smell in the toilet when we arrived which lasted even after flushing. It was not so annoying but could have been more clean smelling. We did not try the breakfast (additional cost) as we are always rushing out in the morning to drive early to the tourist spots. Over-all we could rate it 9/10

We booked triple room for 3 people and stayed 2 nights. The hotel is 10 minutes drive to Château Chambord and half hour drive to Blois. There is no elevator and the lady at reception is very nice to help us bring our luggage upstairs. We stayed over the weekend and most restaurants and grocery store closed. The room is very clean and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant 5 nights stay here in early June. We used Bracieux as a base from where we visited (some of) the very famous chateaux of the Loire valley. Keep in mind that this is a 2 star hotel, now under new ownership/management. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. Lots of safe parking, decent size heated swimming pool, a lot of covered space to safely store your bicycles. The owners speak very good English, and are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Everything you need is less than 5 min walk around the hotel, witch is located in the town centre, across the street from the old "halle", where the weekly market and various fairs are held. Bracieux is a good location for day trips to Chambord (just 10 km N), Cheverny (less known, but a very nice chateau with a magnificent english garden), Blois, Chaumont, Chenonceaux, Amboise and many others.

I arrived late and found my room key and a welcome note, a kind and thoughtful touch. Breakfast was fine continental style and the owner/manager very helpful with local knowledge... even took empty cartons from my car as the decheterie was closed.

There were rats in the walls,we could hear them scraping and squealing during the night. We moved to another room but the bed was uncomfortable, the advertised pool was closed. That was the reason we booked this hotel. Staff didn't have good English. The hotel looked lovely and had a great central location.

Very nice clean hotel, well situated in Bracieux. Good breakfast. We stayed on the top floor and found it difficult to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs so would prefer a ground floor room next time. Otherwise the hotel was a very nice place to stay and the service was fine.

Very comfortable overnight stay to see Chambord and surrounds in spacious, clean triple room with ensuite, great to have a pool and delicious meal in local restaurant recommended by owners. I would rate 3 stars for this hotel (rated as 2). Just needs air conditioning or a fan (like other French hotels!)

Even though we made a mistake in our booking (booking a day earlier than we arrived--eek!), we were greeted warmly and provided a room without a problem. We were very grateful! Room was clean, quiet, and, after the streetlights went out around 11AM, dark. We had a triple room--one queen bed and one single--a little cramped but overall quite comfortable. Toilet room and bathroom separate--also good for our family!

The Hotel was easy to find, it was right on the highway. The gentleman on the counter was so helpful and he helped organize our tour with guiding us to the best locations first. He also spoke very good English. The room was excellent and got cleaned daily with clean towels. The WIFI was free and had a very good signal. The breakfast was good for the price paid, you get 2 croissants, lots of bread, yogurt, 5 different kind of jam, cream cheese, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee and a bowl of fruit (Grapes, Cherries, and Strawberries). There is also a swimming pool for the swimmers. The only two negatives I had is that the room was not equipped with an air conditioner that I have seen and we had to open the windows which was a little uncomfortable since the room was right on the highway and you can hear every car passing by even with the double glass windows. I had ear plugs so that was not a problem for me. Other than these two issues, the rooms and hotel are an excellent choice. Many thanks to the gentleman on the counter and the hotel management for facilitating us a dream vacation. It was really an awesome experience.

Very clean room if a little outdated. Our room (25) seemed like it used to be part of a bigger cottage and had been sealed off. Due to this though, could hear the people next door very loudly.Breakfast was delicious.

Stayed one night on way to Paris. Nice hotel but very basic room but as expected. Clean well presented and lots of safe parking. Covered garage for lots of motorbikes and outside tap to wash car. It even has a small but clean swimming pool. Dof not have breakfast as shops directly opposite hotel open at 9. Would go again butit is basic.
