Excellent value for money. We stayed in a double room which had a huge TV, comfortable bed, sink and lots of storage. Only 20 mins from our airport parking but if you speak to Peter the manager he can give you advice on parking locally for less. Peter was very friendly and we really rated the breakfast. Highly recommended.

Me and my friend stayed here for the Comicon at BEC Arena. The hotel was 15 minutes away, which cost about £16 in an Uber. There was parking on the street, and we had no issues finding the address. The landlord is incredibly kind, and super helpful. The landlord truly helped make our stay enjoyable. As well as Adam, the front of house staff. Though me and my friend turned up dressed up as Chucky the Doll, the staff (and the locals) were incredibly friendly and helped us make memories which will last me and my friend a life time. For the pricing, we could not complain at all. Thank you so much for having us, hopefully we will see you again at the next comicon! :) :) :)

Came to Manchester for a concert and stayed here just for the night. Peter was such a great host. He’s really friendly, considerate and helpful. Obviously not much to do around the area but it’s a good stay for just one night. The rooms are clean but the toilet was just really cold

Excellent as always. Pete is a great welcoming host, always on the end of the phone or on the premises ready to help. Cleaning staff asking if I needed anything (i stayed in a private double). I am a regular (for long extended stays) to this great value place, clean and warm, near to where i need to be and there are 5 convenience stores within 500yds, 1 being 10yds away - just next door, a sandwich and a drink if needed. 5 miles to Media city, Salford and 5 miles to Manchester city centre but staying in a quieter area. Being on the outskirts, food is cheap, deli 654 down the road for lunch is £3.50 soup and bread, swinton buffet for £8-12/14 is a bargain meal out. There are many food shops/restaurants, pubs, other shops - barbers, laundry, big asda supermarket, a tesco express on the petrol cpurt (cash machine).

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The owner was the best host ever, catered to my every need. The free breakfast is also amazing. First place i stayed in my Europe trip and it was honestly an amazing start to the trip.

Tidy, reliable room worth the low fee. Breakfast included for £40 overnight stay is brilliant. Friendly and knowledgeable host. Easy transport links into Manchester.

Peter was very welcoming and good to get travel updates before arrival. Room clean and nice to have a simple breakfast buffet with option to cook too. Room was cold and had to put a coat on as the heating didn't kick in until around 9-30 / 10pm....info in private room said that all windows ie toilet and corridor were to be left open for ventilation. seemed a bit odd but open roof space in corridor added to the chill ! Heard Karaoke going on which I was kindly warned about but not an issue. Decent value but need to address the late thermostat time badly!

Really amazing stay for the price! Peter is kind, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. The locals are fun. Cook your own breakfast is incredible. My dog, Donnie, has really settled in and felt it was like home. Can’t fault it at all!!! Plus an amazing bonfire night set up by all the lovely staff working here! Keep it up! 10/10…I’ll definitely be using it as a regular when visiting Manchester
