What a gem! Could not fault a thing. Staff amazing, Charlotte was amazing and showed us the history and about the local area, she looked after us at the bar too. Jess and Geoff were really helping and welcoming. Great location, great hotel, loved room 6. Fantastic breakfast too. Will definitely come back and recommend to others xx

Rooms spotless and modern, why I have not seen this sooner is beyond me !!! Perfect hotel for business stays or getaways.

We recently stayed at The Whitehouse Hotel in Peterlee as a group of five, and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—just what we needed for a relaxing stay. Although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast for all five of us the night before, the staff were more than happy to accommodate us on the day without any fuss, which we really appreciated. That kind of flexibility and friendliness made a big difference. We didn’t use the bar, so can’t comment on that, but everything else about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. This place is a real gem of a find—highly recommended!
