I stayed here based on reviews from other guests. They didn't let me down. I wanted a quiet and comfortable place to stay while I ventured across the border into Switzerland to see Porrentruy and other towns in the region. I arrived late and they left a key and instructions out for me. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and breakfast and dinner were great. It was a perfect spot for my trip. Thank you!

Excellent aspect, very little information,no restaurant till Wednesday,staff tried hard but seemed to lack any sense of direction . Wifi absolutely useless. We notice probably more than most as we are in the "people business ", the property has huge potential but lacks direction.

Just a one night stopover but a welcome oasis of calm during a drive down to Italy. Beautiful location, good food and comfortable room.

The check in has to be done at the restaurant but it is not written anywhere, has to call to find out. The doors of the rooms in the corridor are being slammed real loud, the acoustics are horrible, too much noise. Otherwise the restaurant served good food and the area is calm and green.

Booked this hotel as the 1st stop on our road trip to Italy. After 13 hours on the road the bed was just what we needed. Has to be the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Room clean and tidy but disappointed no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. As we were making an early start before breakfast was served this would have been very welcome. Also sat nav had difficulty finding it but instinct and good old fashioned map reading did the job!

This is a wonderful hotel in a great contryside setting. Everything about the place and the staff was just A1

We enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and the comfort of our room together with a superb breakfast. This is an ideal place for walkers and cyclists and those appreciating quiet. Since the hotel is situated on a one lane road in the countryside, we would have appreciated more detailed instructions on finding it.

Charming rural hotel with adjacent restaurant, (although breakfast taken in delightful room overlooking the grounds). Very attentive and helpful service provided and excellent local gastronomy to be found in the adjacent restaurant ( note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but plenty of local alternatives within 10km). Recommended for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Rooms were large with attention to comfort. (Our room had a desk plus a comfortable seating area.) The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable. The location is in the country surrounded by gently rolling hills and farmland. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The buffet breakfast is awesome: homemade jams and pastry and their own smoked meats. The only negative is it's hard to find. But we would definitely stay here again and at breakfast we spoke with a man from San Francisco who has been coming here for years!

Pour une étape, hôtel au milieu de nulle part, au bout d'un chemin à travers champs. Chambre très "has been" avec de la moquette partout même dans la sdb, ce qui n'est pas très hygiénique vu l'ancienneté. Papier-peint, tentures et tapis d'il y a 40 ans au moins. L'hôtel propose une formule demi-pension mais l'option nous a été refusée à l'arrivée, probablement car nous avions réservé via Expedia. Cela nous obligeait à manger sur place mais le resto est très cher et la carte n'est pas extraordinaire (les gnocchis à 20 euros, la côte de veau à 32, non merci). C'est devenu une opportunité car nous avons mangé très très bien à petit prix ailleurs (mais il faut faire 10 kms et ils le savent). Le restaurant semble essentiellement fréquenté par des Suisses, les chambres semblent essentiellement louées par des couples qui souhaitent la discrétion (c'est au milieu de nulle part et nos voisins étaient... démonstratifs). Sur leur site, que des avis (trop) positifs, sans doute sélectionnés, autant savoir... Nous n'y retournerons évidemment pas. PS: je suis toujours généreux dans mes avis et je donne facilement 5* - ici, j'ai donné 2* mais je restais près du 1* : j'attendais mieux sans doute....

Bref séjour, dans un lieu calme et idyllique avec les premiers flocons. Excellente table à recommander, même si les prix sont déjà presque à la suisse ;-) (proximité oblige). Merci pour l'accueil !

Accueil charmant, chambres vielliottes mais propres. Attention , restauration de bon niveau mais qui double le prix de la chambre.. Pas d'alternative de restauration à moins de 20 mn de route et cela se voit sur l'addition
