Staff were friendly and polite

Wernt advised that mon-friday is now continental but was only toast/cereal and drinks. Was no way a continental breakfast but i still paid the full price breakfast as hotel.com doesnt do the continental price.

Staff at reception . Very friendly polite. But unfortunately only gave 3 stars because breakfast was not nice hash brown still cold odd 1 still frozen in middle . And when i got down to breakfast i wasnt late but nothing left apart from bean tomatoes and the last 2 hash brown. My room was cold radiator not working. I told staff and was going get someone look or put heater in the room. I got neither . Could do with spruce up in rooms doors mainly and bedroom furniture big let down. I would had gone elsewhere if i knew i was going expect this

Although an unusual building, looking like a school or offices, it was absolutely fine - warm, comfortable and quiet, which is all you want for an overnight stop. We were a little apprehensive becuase it was so cheap, but the reviews said it was fine, which it was, hence a bargain

Beds wete uncomfortable .gave backache.guttering outside room was leaking and water running onto window sill kept us awake.

The staff member on check in was friendly, I couldn’t find anyone when I was leaving so left my key on the desk, some elements of the room require update but fine for the price.

Tired hotel - breakfast was cereal and toast only.

The staff were friendly, we checked in with no problems. The hotel is very basic, needs a lot of updating and modernising if they want to attract more people. Car park on site. Bar, pool table, very run down darts board, table tennis, basic gym. Breakfast was okay, cereal, toast, buffet for hot foods. I wouldn't pay their £9.99 fee if they charged that. We pre paid for the "continental" at £2.99 which would have been cereal and toast but the staff on duty just said help yourself to whatever you want. Plenty of hot food was coming out. If you are looking for somewhere literally to sleep and very cheap this is suitable. The hotel was busy but I think it was being used by people as an overnight stay to maybe rest before driving further in to Scotland, we seen a few people who looked like ramblers. The room was very basic, but clean. The hotel is pretty run down and needs a massive injection of money to update and modernise.

Room was clean, bed spotless with nice white bedding. Toilet was clean and nice white towels too. Room a bit dated but absolute bargain for the price. Staff were very friendly, one man to do reception and bar, that was ok too, but could take a while if reception busy, not the server's fault. Bar prices reasonable. Only thing was it looked not very nice from outside and funny smell in the morning in the corridor, it was like smoke stuff ughh. Breakfast was nice, bit of a miss mash as different items were put out at different times so breakfast took a while but we weren't in any hurry and enjoyed it, full buffet with toaster to make brown or white toast and tea or coffee.

Bludy awful. Stank of cigarettes. Rooms stank. Fire alarm Kept going off. Had to take drinks back as they were awful. Would not recommend.

Rooms great, staff are absolute gems

Room clean and comfortable, staff great. We've been a few times when it was The Milton Hilltop. Not much has changed. It's not a posh hotel but for a night or two it's absolutely fine. Bit worn in places but rooms, bathrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast food is freshly cooked and very nice. Not many staff but very efficient and friendly. Half the price of other local hotels but just as good. Nice walk, not too long, into the town centre. Get there early, big car park but it fills up, it's a popular place.

Convenient prices, friendly receptionists, the ptoperty looked tidy, poor breakfast (just toast and cereals), free parking, situate in a good distance from the city centre. The bar area presented with mice, the en-suite bathrooms urine smelling, rubbish rubber mats.
