No kettle or coffee maker in room, had to travel down from 5th floor to make a hot drink. Bathroom was tiny. Staff lacked customer service skills. Had to wait outside front door until someone opened the locked door, to check in.

A nice enough place with very helpful staff. Fell short on amenities and location. There was no in room coffee/tea making facilities, no ice, no facial tissues, and very little parking facilities. The sea view was a restricted view of the harbor. Restaurants and dining was not close although there was a limited bar across the street and a convenience store a couple of blocks away.

The hospitality at Hotel Bellevue is beyond First Class. They respond quickly and fully to emails and do everything they can to ensure that the guest is taken care of. If one arrives before or after business hours, they will provide details of how to enter, and they leave a room number and key on the counter. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though this time there was a slight musty and unpleasant smell. All in all, a superb hotel. It was my third visit In the past year.

Great location, clean and well serviced. I didn't pay attention to how many stars (2) when I booked, so was a bit shocked when I learned about it later. This place far exceeded my expectations. Front staff spoke enough English and I spoke enough French that everything was great. I arrived early and they stored by luggage for me. Also, they booked a cab for early early AM pickup for me. This place is a gem!

nice employees, nice hotel and place

This hotel is in s good location - is an easy walk to train and bus station and also to harbour and centre of town. The people are just lovely and very helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We would stay here again.

Room was good and clean, had no issues checking in/out. Breakfast was nice as well!

Nice place, just 3 mins walk from the main high street and 5 mins from the harbour. The couple that ran the hotel were welcoming and friendly...also spoke English which helped. Beds comfortable, rooms tidied and beds made up every day. Showers good and room decor was good. Lift is small, a pram and one adult fills it....having said that as soon as they saw we had little ones, they offered us a room on the 1st floor as opposed to the 4th which they had originally booked us. Overall a 4.5 star place, much nicer than the outside looks....as they say in English 'Never judge a book by the cover'

This is a family-owned hotel and the owners are among the nicest people I met in France! However, the biggest problem with this place is sound isolation: I could hear my next-door neighbor snoring like he were sleeping in my bed. Equally well, I heard the guy one floor up dropping stuff all night long (he was obviously drunk). Otherwise, the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a good value for money.

The staff at this hotel was fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. In our two week trip travelling around Europe they were by far the friendliest of all 8 hotels we stayed at. The room was very comfortable too and in a great central location right near the train station. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel,very friendly staff and extremely convenient for the railway station.The hotel is right in the centre of Brest and very convenient for a lot of places to see.Would recommend the hotel.

Although my time in Breqt was very brief, due to current conditions of travel, the manager arranged for every comfort, including early, in-room breakfast, at the petit dejeuner rate.
