What can I say about the service and stay we have just had here. Tracy is amazing and such a good host. We booked the suite for a treat and what a treat it was. The room was lovely and clean and a very good size. The bathroom especially with the couple size bath was amazing. Overall fantastic and we will be definitely booking g again for when we come to Chester next.

Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean, shower room spotless too. Lovely and warm and comfortable bed. Lots of choice re teas, coffes and hot chocolate. Also coffee machine but no instructions so didn't use. Clever idea for room entry with coded handle. We didn't like the lack of human contact. Speaking to a box on the wall, whilst the lady was very polite and friendly, was uncomfortable.

I always have a comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean.

Location was great, room was lovely and staff communicated check in instructions very clearly and well ahead of time. The hotel has a policy of not allowing hot food in the room which is something I can't say I've encountered before and found odd. The reasoning was to keep the room in it's 'optimum standard' for the next occupant. I feel this doesn't give much though to the current occupants experience. At the very least this policy should be mentioned on the hotel listing. I was a solo traveller and would've loved to have a takeaway in my room. There may have been a communal area I could've eaten but why not let customers eat in the rooms they've paid for.

The Seven Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Chester. This boutique property offers a limited number of stylish rooms and apartments, giving it an intimate, personal feel. Tucked quietly within a modern residential complex, it’s easy to miss from the street—but that’s part of its charm. Once you arrive, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned between the historic city walls and the racecourse on one side, and the vibrant city centre on the other. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen that was absolutely immaculate. The furnishings were modern, the bed extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere calm and welcoming. It felt like having my own private apartment right in the centre of town. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions or recommendations. They clearly take pride in the hotel and in making guests feel at home. What I loved most was the balance: just a few minutes’ walk from Chester’s shops, pubs, and restaurants, yet peacefully quiet once you return for the night. Whether you’re visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or the races, The Seven Hotel provides a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and tranquility. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a touch of boutique charm.

Wonderful place! A five star place at a three star price! Incredible soaking tub and rain fall shower. Highly recommend. And Tracy at the front was extremely nice and helpful!

The room was amazing !!! Big, clean and full of comforts. Very cosy and no noise at all. The Seven it's located literally 5 mins walking from all city centre amenities. Definitely we will come back !!!

The whole room was spacious and clean, some lovely touches that go a long way like the Bluetooth speaker, milk in the fridge etc.
