Comfy bed. Heating unable to be controllef by guest. Room 12 was cold during night. Came on at 8am just as going out for breakfast. Stayed in better YHA for the money

Upon arrival at 4pm we were told our room wasn't ready. Check in was actually 2pm . When i said this wasn't ideal as we were stood outside with our luggage the person became immediately rude, Eventually at just after 5pm 3 hrs after check in we were let into our room, The whole place was disgustingly filthy,ripped curtains, dirty floors, thick dust everywhere , no shower only a shower head over a bath that had cold water. Loose electrical wires & only an old electric heater to keep warm that didn't look safe at all. The whole place was utterly shocking, unclean & run down.

Overall not bad, i mean it is a budget whatever it is , location couldnt be better , but maybe invest in some new bed linen and matresses and get rid of all the cobwebs and dust and i couldnt of complained for the price

Tatty place, room stank of old fusty smoke. Piles of junk in the entrance way. I know it cheap but that was next level. I walked in looked around and left

I know its a budget hotel/inn however Mouldy bathroom & damp walls i wasn't expecting yes its cheap and central getting a decent night's sleep isn't possible with paper thin mattress and banging doors!

Pleasently surprised with this "budget" hotel . Comfy bed, plenty pillows, bedside lamps, quality towels and spacious bathroom. Good value all round

Budget inn - you get what you pay for. Clean sheets, towels, no window blind over glazed front door. Room 14 only roll top bath and hand held showehead. Room 4, shower over bath, microwave & fridge. Check in by text message, free resident permit parking

The hotel was very quiet, clean and had everything we needed.

The owner is absolutely amazing. Was kind enough to change me to a lower floor room without a fuss. Bed in room 9 is not comfy at all. Amazing area, quiet during the week.

The room was very spacious in both the bedroom and bathroom.

For the price our room was excellent. Yes it is a bit tired & could do with some improvement, but it was clean , the bed was comfy and it even had a fridge. Our TV was not working but Harry said he would come round & sort it straight away, we told him it didn't really bother us so leave it. But the offer was there . We had no trouble parking on the street. The location is incredible. Right outside the minster & a very easy 5 minutes walk in to town. Absolute bargain if you want somewhere for a night in Beverley.

Room is clean and tidy but the mattresses have seen better days definitely need upgrading. Other than that absolutely fine

Read all reviews thought it can't be that bad well to be honest it is but we paid around £50 for a Saturday night so what do you want it does say budget hotel so that's what you get good location though and quiet would not return or recommend though

Very basic, cheap and cheerful. No frills but clean and tidy.

Checking into the property was an excellent service. The room itself was relatively clean. Apart from switches and cables not looking as if they had been wiped. The bed was also very unsteady, feeling it was going to collapse at anytime. Also some screws that were at the end of the bed to hold the bed together were sticking out and we were worried we would catch our feet on them.

Room is very old and dated, furnishings were damaged , dirty. Observed mice in the bathroom

Cheap place to stay - smelled of cigarettes and floor cleaner throughout. Shower was useless either scalding hot or freezing cold.
