Great stopover. Excellent hotel. Staff superb.

Good basic short stay accommodation - Parking Free - Breakfast extra ( hot & cold food) 👍

Young male receptionist was extremely helpful and made a reservation at the auberge nearby for our evening meal. The bed was not very comfortable.

There pillows do not suit me for sleeping. Other than that all is good

Very good value, no-frills hotel - extremely convenient and efficient, generous breakfast buffet

Staff were friendly, room was clean and well presented. Free soap, shower gel etc. Only criticisms are the pillows, which seriously lack any support and the air conditioning, which really needs to be more powerful for the area its in during the summer months.

Extra charges for dog which were not stated up front

This hotel was not as good as its sister in Rouen, although the Rouen one is brand new. This one could with a bit of a refurb but is still excellent value and one of the better budget hotels available. Perfect for a stopover en route to the south.

We love it's position by a lovely lake and a convenient American diner next door. It's our 4th visit. Great for dogs. Good value for money. It needs an extra pillow each. (I now take my own.) and the heating wasn't giving as much heat as we'd have liked. It was - 3 degrees outside.

It was a overnight stop en route south. Everything was good. Reception could do of an additional operative as the young lady was trying to book you in and continually answering the phone at the same time, causing delay

Chose the cheapest night I could book (sunday obviously) as I was on a road-trip to Spain. I've invariably stayed on Ibis but to be honest I've been waiting for way too long for refurbishments on most of the hotels they provide, I find myself booking Mercuresss as I don't trust the usual Ibis any longer, let alone the Budget one. No one paid me to write this, I just don’t have the time and patience so it’s rare. I’ve just been a bit stubborn and never contemplated other brands other than the Accors. Now; I had a quick check on this Sighor group web and I couldn't even find an English translation of it. Pure Frenchie then methinks... Well, good on them! To the point at last: my room and the whole place felt new! Not even the tinniest dead insect :o) -and that’s free snacks in France! (ok, you can cut this bit) So quiet (sunday though) and so so clean. Felt safe, van was safely parked, paper cups, small tissues on toilet (I know people hate them) which is actually a massive saving compared with rolls (just adapt people!) and then even a hair dryer! Go figure! All my delicates with no moisture at all!…. It totally confirmed the reviews I've read beforehand so here's a new customer to ‘yous’. Here goes the predictable then: Issoire’s Ace Hôtel is ace!! p.s.: I should get a voucher for this or somethin' or nuffin’… (scrap this as well, he thinks he’s funny)

Quiet and clean. However there is no add-on service. A simple vending machine would be great, especially With COVID restrictions where it is not possible to eat outside after 9pm. No coffee, no tea, no snack… nothing.

This hotel was perfect if you wish to stop and be near the highway . It was clean and very affordable

It was comfortable,clean and warm (outside temperature was - 4 degrees) what more do you need from an over-night stop?

An excellent short stay.

The property clearly ranks itself up alongside the Ibis chain, but someone seems to have forgotten to tell the miserable and rude girl who was working on reception for breakfast service. Her appalling attitude wouldn’t be acceptable at the lowest of low hotel chain, and we will not be returning to this hotel, or any of its chain hotels if this is the standard one can expect.

We like Ace Hotel Issoire and use as an overnight stay to Spain plus points are secure parking, well presented rooms, friendly reception staff and decent breakfast plus located adjacent to Motorway and shopping centre. We rate as good value in its price range - recommend

First Ace Hotel we have stopped in. Big room, comfortable bed and quality bedding. No restaurant but excellent bistro nearby

All was satisfactory, staff friendly. Parking good.
