Boutique property easy to access quiet area comfy king size bed loves coffee machine

Fantastic stay. Was looking for somewhere just outside of the city centre which was nicer than the awful travelodges and premier inns. This was a fantastic little treat. Beautiful clean, comfortable room which was nice and roomy. Nice quiet little suburb too. Had dinner at the pub which was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful new rooms above a typical charming London pub, that distils it's own Gin! Really quiet area with lovely walk along the canal. Happily stay again.

What a fabulous place. A wonderful clean and spacious room, with a comfortable bed and great shower. The food in the pub is first class. The area is lovely and quiet. I will definitely stay there again.

It was a cute room but lacking information about the stay, no wifi password etc and no info was given when I checked in. there was quite a lot of noise bleeding through from the other rooms so I slept quite badly one night. Overall a good option for a cheaper stay but definitely more of a b&b than a hotel.

Friendly, efficient welcome from staff and a beautiful room. We didn't experience any disturbance from the pub as some other reviewers have. Great location within easy walking distance of Upper Street. Would definitely return.

Newly refurbished and sound proofed over a lovely pub with great food and beer

Lovely rooms in a really nice area of london. Access was great and rooms were excellent and a really nice pub below. Would happily stay again.

This was perfect for us

🌟 Smart but very noisy, if you don't mind the following, then this is the place for you. There's a noise nuisance from the pub below (customers, live music and open kitchen generator), single glazed windows mean the windows might as well be open 24/7, guests on the stairs, banging fire/bedroom doors, corridor and TV volume from poor sound poor proofing all could negative impact on your stay. Apart from that its a smart guesthouse in Islington.

Lovely housekeeping staff so nice and helpful. Lovely room. If you hate noise then you need to know its above a pub that does live music at weekends but it closes at 11 pm. You get given a code to a door so its easy to come and go 24/7. Theres everything you need within walking sisrance.

All as it should be, if I have a slight criticism it that the bed is a bit hard!!

A very newly renovated boutique hotel above a pub in a quiet residential part of islington. I stayed on the upper floor for a week in room 9 which was spacious, clean and it had all the comforts of home . Very modern and clean bathroom with an large shower - the large closet Included an ironing board and iron which I used before my meetings. The newest espresso machine was nice for morning coffee as was the large smart tv for keeping up on global news. The pub closes early at 11 pm so no concerns about noise . I will stay there again as it’s only 900 m from my destination on upper street, and I have already told friends about the Hanbury Townhouse.

Second time we have stayed. This is a new property above a pub, room and room facilities very good. It has all you need for a comfortable overnight stay. However please consider it’s above a pub/restaurant (a very nice pub/restaurant!) so up to about 11pm there maybe noise. Buses close by.

Rooms are lovely, new, well-appointed. Linens are excellent as was the bed.
