20 min bus ride into town rooms very basic and old fashioned

It was ok if you need somewhere in the area for a night. There was a lot of noise from the road and from the other guests, could hear the TV on one side and a conversation on the other.

No hot water so couldnt have a shower

Basic pub with rooms with very friendly staff. Guests get 10% off of bar food menu. No breakfast but good cafes near by. Other guests felt it was a good idea to be really loud at 4am.

Nice friendly staff. Hotel decor dated in places but they are investing in renovation and I had one such room on the top floor. Walls a bit thin as could clearly hear a rather amorous couple next door - but that didn’t last too long!

All the staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean

Simple, clean, good for the price

I was prepared to be underwhelmed as the price was modest for Brighton. However it was a nice room , staff interaction was good and the location all be it a couple of miles out of town led to a nice 50 minute walk in along the prom and the beach huts. All in all a happy stay and the street parking situation was far better than the town centre.

Good clean and comfortable accommodation for a reasonable "Brighton" price. A little off the beaten track though if you want to be Brighton central.

Friendly staff but disappointed overall. There was a large window with new curtains and carpet. There was a new toilet, sink and radiator in the bathroom. But it was small and the shower itself let the place down. They have overlooked some of the basics including decent beds without headboard and gap at the end to lose your pillows.Filling the kettle at the sink was near impossible as it didn’t fit under the tap.
