You have requested a review of our stay. Let's start with the positives: The lodges themselves are lovely. Great location, very quiet. Made the most of the space inside the lodges with adequate equipment. However: The directions to the property were a nightmare. Google maps sent us off site! When we finally came back on site we (as with others) had to drive around to find our lodge. It would be helpful to have signposts to the lodges i.e. 12-20. If arriving after dark it would be very difficult. The cleanliness of the lodge severely let it down. We had to wash our cups before we could use them, there were food remnants in the air fryer, some of the place mats were dirty as was the small coffee table. The dish washer had lots of dirty water in the bottom and it wasn't working. We phoned for help and, as a plumber could not be employed, it was suggested that we go to the shops to buy some fairy liquid!! To add insult to injury the lady offered us remuneration for the purchase!! That was it...nothing else to help. This was a celebration week-end for my partner so we did not want to be running around for washing up liquid. It is a real shame that this spoilt our stay as the lodges are lovely.

The managing company is diabolical, I paid for late checkout and was hassled by contractors at the usual checkout time to vacate, despite given assurances this would not happen. I’ve also been hounded with unpaid invoice notice… for the late checkout fee despite this being paid up upfront and proof being sent
