This place is terrible. O would never stay here again.

Staff food bar were excellent as were the locals. Stairwell and bwdrooms need a little TLC

Room was clean and quiet, bed comfy, bathroom small (tiniest sink I've seen) but functional, plenty of tea and coffee in room, and availablity of parking and option to leave car whilst exploring the town after check out much appreciated. If on a budget it's a good choice and nice location opposite the castle, close to town and train station. Had food in the pub though which we regretted, the fish was practically cremated, batter burnt and too crispy to eat and fish therefore dry. Noone bothered to ask how the meal was so we didn't complain, should have really but tired after a long journey, so basically would advise okay for a stay over but maybe eat elsewhere

Spot on place to stay. Great that a pub is below the hotel. Ideal location and parking is great too. Really comfy bed too so all good.

Bed was very comfortable but double room was missing curtains. Not been repaired. Breakfast very nice

Great location opposite the castle and 5 min walk to town Centre or train station. Very friendly place and nice bar / restaurant

Despite our room being at the top of a flight of stairs( young lady carried our cases) the room was great, beds comfortable & bathroom suitable.The meal in the Bar was delicious & a Breakfast Bap was cooked for us to take with us as we had a bus to catch.

I really enjoyed my stay the staff were lovely they were really welcoming and helpful.

The room we had had a problem with the toilet. It took ages to stop filling up & at one point the flusher stayed down so we had no toilet in our room. We went down for breakfast today at 9am only to find the landlord had overslept so the place was all closed up. Even the staff were waiting outside to get in. One member of staff, Natalie , was a great member of staff & very helpful. Great location for the town but very casual approach.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast did not start until 9am. Great location for the local town area.

This was end of Day one on the Coast to Cost bike ride. Staff great, no breakfast included in rate, bike was brought upstairs into room. Great location - it’s a popular working pub with parking so busy until late evening at the weekends. Solid value for money, great room size, could do with some investment to update rooms.

Staff were very friendly, rooms were a great size, comfy beds, lovely fresh breakfast - I will definitely be back, and I will recommend it to others too.

I love staying at the agricultural inn. The staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions/assist in any way possible.

comfortable room in a great location. we did not eat at their restaurant, but everybody we met in town recommended eating there... particularly good steaks apparently. We will eat there the next time we stay there.
