it was a convenient accommodation for our southdowns walk with the option of catered meals which was welcome and the use of a kitchen if you wanted it - we used the kitchen to make additional drinks great location for walkers on the southdowns way

Good cheap accommodation!

room was clean but people in the room were noisy. lack of plug sockets in the room not ideal especially on top bunks

Only stayed one night but was very impressed by everything!

Friendly and welcoming staff. The scenery and atmosphere is breathtaking. Away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, it’s a must have for those living a stressful life!

Wonderful place to stay

Comfortable and as expected. Staff really good. Double bunk room and shared facilities. Quite a trek from the main road but part of the adventure.

Loved this place, smack on the South Downs Way so great for walking. Helpful, friendly staff and good service. Beautiful views from the dining room/lounge area. Able to check in ahead of 5pm.

Booked a single room and paid a little more but the stay was an enjoyable expeience. Food was great and social area comfortable.

We were blown away by this beautiful place! The views and environment is absolutely breathtaking. We met some really lovely people and the young men who worked there in the evenings were helpful and very professional yet kind to everyone. The kitchen is well kitted out and there is a good system for marking your own food in the fridge etc. The showers were really good too and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the comfy sofas with the best view in the South Downs. The little restaurant serves delicious food and drinks too.

A warm and friendly welcome. Very clean accommodation, basic as you would expect but that was all we needed. Good range of food available. Showers and facilities all very clean

A bit remote from Shoreham but peaceful, scenic and ideal to rest your head for a night. Good value.

3 day walking trip on the South Downs.

Wasn’t obvious where reception was, it is on the first floor. Friendly check in, only bunks left. I am 5.5 and only just fitted in. Breakfast in the morning was lovely with fantastic view.
