Overnight stay to be ready to look after our grandsons. Had to wait for the hotel to be open at 4 pm. Easy parking in front of the hotel. Room was comfortable. We left early but we were told where to leave the room key. Not too far to walk into Sale, though it is along a main road.

Nothing much to see really its a Victorian building with lots of rooms. The shower was just a trickle. Didn't get a good night's sleep as the washing machine was on all night. And traffic noise. Ok for one night i suppose.

Lovely friendly people, clean room and a great breakfast. But . . . No TV signal in the room and the thermostat in the shower has failed so it just went hot, cold, hot, cold etc. Wi-Fi also very weak, but just about usable. Okay stay, but they need to get on top of maintenance

First room had wall paper hanging off, second room had dirty duvet. Third room had dirty mattress, dirty headboards, broken curtains, cobwebs and mould in the bathroom on the wall. Staff tried hard but it was really bad.

Good Free parking , clean and quiet, bathing water, is hot enough, powerful flushing water, comfortable, good staff services, good memories and will come to here again.

The room was in serious need of redecorating. The shower did not work if you had flushed the toilet and was leaking from the bottom of the head. Something should have said about that. The bathroom floor had not been thoroughly washed and there were a couple of pubic hairs in the shower tub. The mattresses made noises and there was not sufficient protection on them.

Room was fine for a quick stay over. All clean. Room was a bit tired, had a hole in the plasterboard, couple of loose fixtures, double sockets with only one socket working, but nothing terrible. For the price we paid for a quick visit to Manchester it was good value. In a nice area and got parked no probs.

Lovely b and b. Friendly staff. Only things that would of been even better: Kitchen open for dinner, although i guess its because its not busy at all. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and although it was very tasty would be good to have more choice especially for the price, e.g yogurt, pastries, fresh fruit and maybe something like an omelette instead of full english but thats just personal choice! A bigger bath towel and a hand towel is needed and somewhere to put shower gel when ln the shower. The shower was lovely tho. A great overnight stay tho and very comfy bed!!

Reasonably priced accommodation. Breakfast NOT included. Very tired interior. Really could do with a complete refurb', however, the room was clean, except for around the window (cobwebs etc) Pleasant owner.

Ok but needs a lot of money spent on it just looks old and tired I believe it’s up for sale advertises restaurant but it’s closed

Very friendly and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay and rooms were clean, but the place is badly in need of a decor refresh and upgrade. My shower had poor water pressure, and was barely warm. My son's room had almost no water pressure so just dribbled out of the shower head, and was also barely warm.

The location was good and the receptionist dealt with my complaint professionally, politely and refunded without quibble. The hotel was in a terrible state though, to such an extent that I checked out and moved hotels which I have never done in my life,especially at 6pm and 4 hours from home. The paintwork was chipped everywhere, Formica chipped on the bedroom furniture, the cupboard fell off its hinges when I opened the door, the back of the loo dirty,the bed cover was slightly stained and the worst thing of all was that the mattress was stained terribly down the side. There was a mattress protector on but I could not stay in a hotel like this. I am used to nice quality hotels to be fair and had expected this to be basic but clean which it wasn’t. An awful smell of cigarettes met you when you entered the hotel too.

We arrived earlier than check-in time. The staff at the lodge allowed us to keep our bags on site. We felt very comfortable doing so. The people on site helped us with navigation and transportation options for the area. Pub on site. No food. But, we had a great time chatting with the locals about our trip. Felt very safe here.
