Nice , will stay again thanks

It’s a nice vonvenient place to stay, either a mice bar, good food and friendly staff. The breakfasts are really exceptional when you can literally pick what you want and I loved thee choice of eggs. However the rooms are the let down. Somewhat dates, shower with curtains, lovely old sash windows but wobbly and loose which rattle in the wind. Beds are comfortable though and the rooms cleaned every day. It’s a nice older style hotel, pretty comfy, great staff and breakfasts but just a tad dated.

Comfortable hotel. Bed slighly smaller than normal double but a good night sleep. Great complimentary breakfast.

We were unsure of our arrival and subsequent check-in time, however issue resolved after a quick call with the staff who were very accommodating. Included breakfast buffet was great including everything you would want for a full English + lighter options such as toast or cereal etc. Room was clean. Bed comfy. Only downsides was the lack of plug sockets near the bed (only a single socket near the TV) and the shower mixer on the bath taps was cracked/broken sending out scalding hot water when set to 38. Turning it all the way down to around 20° was usable. Not an issue for adults but perhaps not great for the more independent accompanying kids. All in all, very good. Excellent staff, hotel location (2 mins from train station) and breakfast made this worth the money.

Plus: the staff are great, the food good. negative: : the rooms need a revamp, We had luke warm water on day one and cold water day 2 ( reported to receptionist who was the only member of staff that showed little interest!!) and a rattling bedroom window that had to be stuffed with a bath mat. The lift!!!!! Well that is an experience!!! Plus: there were plenty of parking spaces. That’s my review, it a sandwich of good, bad and good.

Brilliant as usual

The building had lots of character, but it was a little bit dated! The room we had was clean and comfortable but rather hot. We opened the windows and took the duvet out of its cover in order to get to sleep. The breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast on Saturday morning was just perfect. Freshly made to order, it was delicious. Sunday morning buffet was abit of a let down. Lots of parking and the hotel was pretty clean.

This hotel is one that should not be overlooked the rooms are clean and provide all your required facilities,the staff are friendly helpful and efficient and the breakfast is well cooked and varied and tastes delicious Car parking is provided and free to patrons and the hotel is positioned just a very short walk from the centre of a delightful town

The staff were excellent and so pleasant and helpful. The room was basic and dated, but was ok for one night. I must say it was all very clean. The TV could do with updating and the WiFi was not good enough to stream on my iPad at night but was ok in morning. Probably due to traffic overload. The room we had was fronting the road so it was fairly noisy and traffic started early. Probably ask for a rear bedroom next time. We found the bed comfortable with nice pillows. We ate in the restaurant in the evening at the carvery. The food was nice and good variety of veg. However the gravy was one of the worst I have tasted. I mentioned it to a staff member and they agreed with me! Breakfast was included and was very nice. Could do with a new toaster as the bread doesn’t fit and put some marmalade in with the jams. All in all the Broadway was great value for money and I would stay again.

Good hotel, great location, excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. The bedroom was a little small and tired, but the hotel is good value and I would stay again.
