The venue is superb overall. One thing I found was there was no buffet continental breakfast, you had to sit and ask for corn flakes and a cup of tea which took ages to arrive. There was never any staff around so I ask the guy watering the plants who as it turned out also was doing breakfast and wasn't that happy. Maybe under staffed.

We had an amazing two night stay here! We had a Boujee room with a bath at the end of the bed, a wet room and a courtyard terrace. Exceptional value. From the second we ‘checked in’ on the bus reception everyone was fun, friendly and so relaxed. We were walked to our room where all services and amenities were explained on the way and it made the arrival so exciting. The room itself was really fun and funky and really helps you relax just being yourself (there’s not much room for privacy from your partner!) we found it a great way to just find the joy in all the quirks. (A bath tub which fills from the ceiling is definitely a quirk!) The gardens were beautiful with just the right level of music. Drinks were lovely and whilst we didn’t eat here, the food smelled amazing! Throughout the whole stay every staff member we passed made pleasantries and made you feel welcome any time day or night. With a BP/M&S next door (though you really don’t here any noise), a £20 uber to Oxford and a 25 minute drive to Bicester Village, literally everything about this unique hotel was great from style and service to location. Expectations absolutely exceeded. We will most definitely be back! Thank you Crazy Bear team!

A great hotel for a one night stay, just want we needed. The only downside was our room, although fantastic was up a residential street meaning getting back to the car park wasn’t easy

We had an excellent stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing. Will visit again

It was the most perfect room, we stayed in one of the decadent rooms at is was perfect from the decor to the bed and walk in shower wet room it was glorious. The most perfect escape to relax with everything you need, it was beautiful in the heat with the air conditioning being perfect and the room cool from the second we walked in. Dinner and Breakfast were faultless it was the most delicious food. I only have one fault of opening the cupboard containing the dressrobes and ironing it appears a previous guest left a pair of socks and these had not been removed so unsure on the level to which the room was cleaned & inspected before hand. Would definitely go back with the hope no more belongings would be left for us to find

No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible

This quirky decadent hotel is my favourite place to stay in the UK with my partner. Relax, embrace and self-indulge. Can't go wrong. Can't wait to return very soon.

The rooms are amazing, the restaurant is 10/10. Staff are friendly and attentive. Can not wait to go back in the summer

Room was really quirky and decorated well. Some cob webs on lights, windows and headboard had a bit of musty smell. Room got very warm at night, air conditioning wasn't great. Staff were excellent though, really helpful and cheerful. Food at the restaurant was fantastic too.

This hotel has deteriorated over time. The decor in places a bit worn. I would not pay the full price for a room.

Great stay

The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. The staff were absolutely super though and the food was amazing. We ate in the Thai restaurant one evening which was great. Also the Oak Restaurant and again the food was super - and we had a really great breakfast each day. The whole place is fantastically unique, quirky and beautiful when all lit up at night. The farm shop 2 mins walk up the road is a must - it was fabulous and again the staff were absolutely super, friendly and very helpful. Oh and the bed and pillows were fantastically comfortable so we slept really well - just what you need when away for a country break!

Lots of free parking available. Loved the check in on the red bus. Room was cozy and very quirky. Lovely meal, cocktails and staff.

Having never stayed before at the Crazy Bear I went in with high expectations, however I didn’t realise the room which was meant to be a decent level, was the size of a postage stamp, just enough room for a double bed, no spa even though it was advertised as that’s the other venue not Steadhampton. Overall less than impressed, especially for the money, probably the most expensive hotel you can stay in per square foot, which was about 12.
