Check in was very easy, breakfast times and checkout times explained by friendly, helpful staff. We booked a table for the evening, the meals were delicious and didn't take too long to come out, also the drinks reasonable. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed for the price with plenty of sockets for both our teenage daughters electronic devices, hair straightener etc. The fact that breakfast is included in the price makes it extremely good value.

Great pub with friendly staff and good clean spacious rooms

This is the second time I have stayed here when working away. The staff are friendly, the food is basic pub grub, but of a high standard. The rooms are clean and comfy, so, nothing to dislike.

The Cat and Lion was a convenient one night stay following a family funeral. We arrived mid evening Reception was closed but our room key was available in the adjoining pub. The room was large, clean and comfortable and reasonably quiet considering it was next to the pub. Breakfast next morning was excellent. Overall a good stay.

They were really good, we had a couple.of issues with the room, and they were so helpful. Dealt with all with the utmost professionalism.

Friendly village pub, great food and the bedroom was plenty big enough with a double and two full size single beds.

Nice pub and eating options in the restaurant, comfortable bed although the room decoration is looking a little tired. Plenty of parking and easy access to the hotel from the motorway.

Holes in walls where something was removed,but not repaired, A damaged, (plug in oil heater) ,,paint flaking around thermostat, Generally average accomodation Good ,and friendly staff,food was fine,
