Easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. The staff were excellent and liked the buffet breakfast where you have a lot of options. The food was also very good so all in all a very good place and will be back again if I have meetings nearby.

Excellent overall , however , bad smell in bathroom. Perhaps problem with drains. The room had been sprayed with an air freshener prior to us entering the room

Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Great property and highly recommend

Really great. Pub was heaving when I arrived due to football derby but staff ensured I checked in easily and you could not hear the pub noise in the room.

There is a problem with the hot water in the shower. it remained extremely hot, despite trying to turn to cold water. too hot to shower .

Rooms were very nice. Mini fridge in your room and help yourself area in the corridor that had plenty of snacks and breakfast items. I was in room one, felt like it had been recently renovated, or they keep a room very well. Booking in and checking out is easy. Would stay again. Pub is also great.

Nicely appointed room with only a little noise from the pub (expected tbh as it was Saturday night) which stopped by 11.30pm. Staff were great and very friendly. Pub food was good. Room smelt a little strange and couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work, but other than that everything was great. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate.

Fabulous stay. Booked when someone else let us down. Will be my first port of call from now on.
