We had a single night's stay here on a Saturday night. They had 3 functions ongoing, with 2 of them relatively noisy. People outside our bedroom window chatting loudly until nearly midnight. Nothing wrong with people enjoying themselves but there should be advance warning and a discount if the hotel is really full with functions. On the positive, bed was pretty good, room was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. Also, they had 7kw electric car chargers - useful but charging 54p per kw to guests is pretty steep...

From 27 upstairs has skylight which was not cleaned, room was left with flies in it, perhaps the house keeping should check how the room is left

Nice overnight stay where it was convenient, quiet and comfortable.

The room we had was in poor condition. One of the mattress was so soft which can not support anything. There was only one roof window, poor ventilation. We had to keep it open, noisy outside. After the flush of the toilet, we need to wait for a very long time to have another flush. The shower was not very good either. The swing bar lock did not work. The carpet looks dirty. The breakfast was very so so, very limited choices of fruit. Their staff are friendly. However, I will never go back and not recommend to others.

Hotel is nice enough, I had a triple room. Pints nearly £7 up north is a joke and they charge you £50 deposit to stay, the woman tried to scoff at me as she falsely said " it's a very common thing now " no it isn't. I stay in hotels 4 days a week around the country and only two have done it. She swiped my card as she again told me incorrectly " it's just a deposit " and it immediately took £50 and it's the day after and it's still not back. Shame as I'm sat in another hotel around the corner that's not as aesthetically pleasing but that £50 charge has guaranteed I will not go back to that hotel again.

The staff were very polite and when you asked the staff for any questions they were very friendly could not fault the our stay

I had a great stay the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were most helpful and approachable making me feel more settled as I travelled alone. The breakfast was amazing and hot! The room was clean and there was complimentary things in the bathroom which you never get! The only snag was I could hear some sort of generator or air conditioning unit that didn’t go off/ quieter until midnight and I like it quiet when I sleep or I can’t sleep.

Dated room/hotel. All would have been fine but the toilet continuously had the flush running and the shower was broken; constantly on boiling hot with no way of turning it down, therefore we couldn’t use the shower. Not good enough
