Tiny room, no space for our suitcases or hanging clothes, the window opened onto the air shaft, so not worth opening. No amenities to speak of. We managed to stay the night and were glad to move out first thing. Won't repeat.

The worst booking I’ve had through Expedia. The apartment was nothing like the pictures—shockingly small, while it’s our fault we didn’t notice it doesn’t have air conditioning, there were only two fans (one per room), and the fan in the kids’ room was broken, it became dangerously hot in there. When I contacted the management company, they said it was a known electrical issue and that they were still trying to find someone to fix it. It felt like they assumed we were long-term renters, not short-stay guests. It was extremely hot in Paris, record level temperatures, and leaving the windows open didn’t help. On top of that, everything in the apartment was of poor or cheap quality—towels, bed sheets, pillows, even the dishcloth looked like it had been used many times before. Please do yourself a favor and avoid booking any property managed by WS Management.

The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. The lights were on a timer and kept turning off every 4 minutes. The fans in 2 of the 3 rooms were connected to the light timer and would turn off when the lights turned off. We contacted the staff but they weren't able to help us. It was sweltering inside the apartment but because of the fan situation, we couldn't get any airflow.

WS Marais was a painful experience. When we arrived in Paris, the fan in the apartment didn't work, the bathroom was a mess with water all over any time we took a shower and a stink emanating from the toilet area. The bed and pillow covers were not changed (Yuck!) and stinked from the previous people who used it. Customer service is through Whatsapp and less than stellar...they are not as ready for English speaking people as you would hope... they send you videos in French when we asked for help with getting the fan fixed. Terrible service. When I demanded that they either fix the issues of move us, they did move us to another apartment. Our first day in Paris was ruined with the delays in help we received and I am demanding a refund for a portion of the stay. P.S: Don't expect any help from Expedia either. I find them to be typically useless in dealing with any issues with canned answers and unable to do much.
