Very nice little hotel. Amazing diner option with excellent food. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We arrived at 3:30pm but couldn’t get into the hotel until 5pm, as the hotel was closed until then. The room was good but no tea / coffee in the room. The reception was very helpful and friendly, but it would have been good to have the menu in English as well as French, as my wife ordered her meal without knowing it included scallops as there was no mention of this on the menu and scallops don’t agree with her, otherwise the meal was very good, as was breakfast.

Well located hôtel, secure parking with friendly staff

Very old hotel that has been refurbished to modern standards. Bedrooms are comfortable (and quiet), bathrooms are modern but the showers are a nightmare and there is nowhere to hang a towel!. The hotel has a large car park and a quiet garden on the banks of Le Loir. Breakfasts are typical continental, more fruit would be nice but don't expect hot food. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, we ate there on three successive evenings.

We had stayed in the hotel last year and wanted to return but we found this visit a little disappointing as the service was more off hand and a bit sloppy, plus dinner was served in the cramped, noisy bistro instead of the lovely dining room. Had to check the bill carefully, as we had been charged twice for dinner and wine!

It was the best hotel experience on our three-week driving vacation.

Nice hotel but room was quite small and breakfast was basic

Easy to find in a small village the hotel was clean, attractive inside and out with a comfortable bed and reasonable bathroom. The highpoint of the stay however was dinner in the hotel restaurant, probably our best dinner during our week long stay in France. Do not miss it! We chose to purchase pastries at a nearby shop and come at a small cafe around the corner (breakfast and coffee for two for 9 euros) so we did not experience the hotel breakfast. For a taste of a small French village, delightful hotel and an outstanding dinner I would highly recommend the Hotel Le St. Jacques.

Chose the location as a good first stop in France after the Channel crossing, and the hotel as it is a Logis. Lovely , good sized room, looking down towards the gardens and river Loir. Lovely town. Walks along the river. Good restaurant in peaceful setting.

A very small town, nice if you want to get a feel of the country, we enjoyed our stay for one night, had supper at the pub next to the Hotel as their restuarant was closed, very tasty, as we enjoy watching the locals we had a good time, rooms are comfortable and clean.

Très bon séjour. Hôtel refait à neuf. Restaurant de très bonne qualité. Accueil très chaleureux. Je recommande Seul petit bémol le wifi est très lent.

L'établissement est vraiment excellent, avec des installations de qualité et un service impeccable. De plus, le responsable et son equipe sont toujours à l'écoute, présents et très agréables. Ils ont su répondre à toutes nos attentes et ont rendu notre séjour encore plus plaisant. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour confortable et sans souci.

Séjour étape, dans une "mini-suite" Excellent accueil de Jean-Pierre le "boss" et une très bonne table avec de bons produits locaux

Séjour d'une nuit pour affaires l'hotel est charmant et le personnel accueillant je conseille vivement.

Hôtel situé à proximité de Châteaudun (+/- 15 minutes en voiture) dans un charmant petit village. Etablissement calme possédant un restaurant. Très bon confort. Petit déjeuner avec un choix relativement large. Bilan très positif de cette soirée dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel.
