Beautiful quiet hotel

Lovely hotel. Historic setting, very corteous and helpful staff, large and modern rooms, quiet at night. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Location was fantastic. We’re going to come back this summer and stay here.

From the moment you step into this property your body enters into an awareness and imagination of history. We were impressed with how rooms were modernized while respecting the building’s architectural heritage; a clear example, the windows.

Simply one of the most elegant and stately hotels I’ve stayed in. The city of Leon is equally stunning with its churches, city scapes and restaurants. Highly recommend both the hotel and city.

Immaculate hotel with astonishingly good breakfast. Right in the ancient monastery buildings - feels like you’re part of history.

Great location, wonderful staff, clean and well renovated. Breakfast was plentiful and great. Parking on site albeit a little confusing to drive through the square because it is a ZTL area. But they will report your plate number to the city on check in and check out.

Lovely place, an easy walk to the cathedral and Calle Ancha. Luscious bedding. So glad we stayed here! Our GPS did a terrible job of directing us to the location, but it was well worth the effort. Oops … woke up to no room heat, no hot water. Wanted to get an early start, but the staff said it was fixed and would take about an hour to get up to snuff. No way to heat water for early tea and coffee.

We had a great experience staying in the hotel for one night. Excellent service, clean and spacious room, delicious breakfast.

The staff wete lovely and there was plenty of free parking. Close to all amenities which was great and a lovely town to visit. Rooms were nice with great aurcon. My only complaint was the bathroom stank of smoke. Disappointing. Other than that would use again.

Small hiccup at Check-In as my booking amendment for one of the rooms was showing as a cancellation. However, the staff member resolved the problem to my satisfaction. The rooms were spacious, clean & very comfortable. We found the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good with a decent variety of produce. My only disappointment; that the hotel has no bar. It world have been perfect to enjoy a cool evening drink in the courtyard before dinner. Otherwise, we enjoyed a wonderful stay in a well-run, attractive hotel in one of Spain's great cities.

In my opinion the best place to stay in Leon, as the hotel itself is part of the San Isidoro complex, with the museum next door, You sleep in one of the monasteries, which is an experience.
