The pub was not open on the day of arrival, so no food available. Was not offered a breakfast option. Shutters on window let in a lot of light so slept poorly. Very small tv which was mounted in a corner so uncomfortable to watch.

We arrived and there was a sign on the door telling us to call a number to check in. My husband had to call the number at least 7 or 8 times before someone answered. The restaurant was closed that night. This was very frustrating after driving on country roads for hours and being out in the middle of nowhere. After the manager finally answered the phone(we are from another country-not answering the phone caused us a lot of stress) we were told that we would have to drive several miles to find a restaurant. The room was very neat and tidy, but small. I will not stay here again because I was not impressed.

Overall, I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was really nice. Couldn't get a picture on the T.V. which was a little annoying but not the end of the world. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Superb menu in the restaurant and l would recommend having breakfast too. No complaints!

Room was very clean, staff were helpful. But the breakfast starts at 9am which is too late.

Check in was very easy. Very nice, modern room, and quite spacious as far as UK hotel rooms go.

Clean, friendly host, lots of parking, lots of birds in the trees, and the best food we ate during our 3 week trip at the restaurant next door with very friendly staff. Small town so perfect for a stroll after dinner.

Very modern

A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am.

What an amazing find. Definately be back. Rooms are lovely. Food was amazing. Lots to choose from in the bar. I really enjoyed my stay here. I travel a lot with my job, so when you find a place like this, its makes a huge difference, especially vs those who simply play at it. This place really cares about its customers.

The mattress was really uncomfortable so both of us didn’t sleep . Noise at 6am bins being emptied very loud !. TV very small not a huge deal it’s a shame the pub was nice

Very small room breakfast not worth the money

Rooms well appointed and modern clean etc. nice touch espresso machine. Staff very good as was the food. Most expensive drinks anywhere in Cornwall. But I guess folks need to make a live.... and it's a pretty inn. Didn't open onMondays!!

Lovely accommodation - great stay

Really clean room, and great that it’s dog friendly. The breakfasts are generous. We enjoyed a relaxing three nights.
