I just got back to the US after staying for a week at the Miiro Borneta. I was very impressed by this boutique hotel. It looks like the pictures on Expedia -- including the tiny pool on their roof. I spent an afternoon journaling on the rooftop patio, and it was lovely. The location is great - not the center of the Gothic Quarter but an easy, level walk to it and other touristy things including the metro and bus stops. The staff was friendly but not obnoxious. There don't have a lot of folks working the front desk compared with other hotels, but they are all excellently trained, speak English, and are friendly. For example, one afternoon, I happened to be in the lobby when one of the front desk clerks noticed that a woman outside was juggling her luggage and bags and jogged out from behind the desk to go help her. The food was good and comparably priced with other nicer restaurants in the area. I was in their basic room - the "Classic" room. It was small, but the perfect size for just me. If I were travelling with one or more other folks, I'd recommend getting a bigger room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Borneta. We spent 3 nights in Barcelona for my husband’s 50th Birthday. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We asked for recommendations for places to eat from bar and reception staff and their recommendations were excellent. Overall staying at Borneta made our stay in Barcelona very special :)

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The neighborhood is nice. Definitely worth the price! Wish I had known about it earlier.

Second time in this Hotel, probably if I come Back to Barcelona would repeat this hotel.

The hotel was extremely nice, and although there was hustle and bustle, you couldn’t tell because everyone was so calm, and you couldn’t hear others when you were inside your room. The curtains were thick and got the room very dark for siesta’s or when you were sleeping in, and wanted to avoid morning light. Room service was impeccable, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious. Every employee was extremely hospitable.

Great location near the water, train station, great restaurants, the park and only 25 minute walk to La Sagrada Família. This area is way better to stay than by La Sagrada Família.

Fantastic location. Friendly, approachable staff. The room is clean and well serviced. We included the breakfast and well worth it.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Worth 5*. Decor and rooms are high quality, clean and cosy. Staff is exceptional throughout the hotel but the best thing is the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were the highlights of our stay. We are a demanding couple but have no remarks on this hotel. Keep up the good work and this level of quality. We will definitely be back.

Great location, rooms and hotel furnishings were excellent, very comfortable bed and pillows, I slept very well and the room was quiet. The room was also cleaned everyday and topped up with water, coffee/tea and the staff were extremely helpful, professional and greeted me everyday with a big smile. The best hotel experience i've had in a long while. High recommended, I will be back.

Absolutely delightful! Highly recommend! Excellent location; Lovely room with comfortable bed; Attentive and helpful staff; Sebastian at the front desk was welcoming, assisted with getting taxis in the rain, and had excellent restaurant recommendations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
