Overnight stop on a longer journey

Great stopover in village hotel close to the motorway. Lovely characterful property with renovated rooms and restaurant on the village square.

Excellent small hotel and restaurant/bar. Rooms are large and really well designed in a historic building. We had the room with a kitchen and it had really good cooking extract piped to the outside. This might sound trivial but you will never forget the night you cooked in the same room as you sleep when there is no extract.

The property is very beautiful, decorated with great details. The service was excellent. The room beautiful, comfortable and quiet.

Loved the hotel. Full of character, tastefully decorated. The staff were helpful a friendly. Convenient garage right next to the hotel. The hotel was situated right in the heart of the village. Walking round the village was lovely especially by the river.

What a beautiful town and hotel! Truly a very special stay. Elegant, generous lady of the house shows up immediately when you call at a random time to check in.

Character property comfy rooms historic town and welcoming people

Arrived in the square and had to call the number on the door to gain admittance. The lady came straight away and was lovely. The room itself was on the second floor, which was not ideal with our dogs, but the building was stunning and the room was very comfortable. It had a fully equipped kitchen that folded away in a cupboard which was great for snacks, drinks and dealing with the dogs. The bar served simple meals and we ate there. They also serve breakfast but we looked after ourselves The village is very old and definitely worth a look around.

Not a bad place. Decent location and very close to m/way. A good stop off place for France anadromous southern Spain.

Dog friendly clean room with modern facilities but old world no food served in hotel but bar which is part of hotel. Hotel in the village square next to church and is the focal point of village. Village just of main road, very enjoyable stay with dogs.

I only stayed the one night but a very friendly and accommodating hotel. Arrived too late to see much of the town but a lovely town square, as always. The hotel tried to give me a bottle of wine when I left but as on a bicycle I unfortunately had to decline. If travelling in the area I'd certainly stay again.
