A real taste of rural Catalonia. Near the beach and a short drive to the mountains. Great food, great staff/owners, plenty of room for kids to play. The best part was that it is the main place of activity in the town. The locals partook in the pool, playground, and the restaurant. Great times.

Pictures on Hotel.com do not give true representation. Turned down first room as bathroom was disgusting, second room not much better. Vastly overpriced, stayed in 2 other hotels on our trip which were 3 star, beautifully appointed and cheaper. Not a happy choice for us and definitely would not recommend.

This place a bit off the main road is nice, clean and cosy. It is not internatinal chain standard but for those who had to use those for business for ages a real relief. The owner family does everything to provide a nice stay. The restaurant provides fantastic local food with a very fine red wine.

We had a great stay at this hotel for one night before we flew back to the UK from Girona Airport. Unfortunately the restaurant closes on Tuesdays from September onwards and we had to stay....on the first Tuesday in September. If the evening meals are as good as the excellent breakfast we ad then they are to be recommended. The owner was friendly and spoke good English - we can manage French and Italian but struggle in Spanish - and was most helpful. The room was spotless, the decor perhaps a little dated but we certainly don't mind that when we have a comfy bed, a hot shower and A/C when needed. All in all a very enjoyable stay and great value for money!

Bascara is on the Catalan Cami route but has no hotels. We would recommend this as the nearest option

Staff were very accommodating and my bike was stored in a lock up overnight. Room was clean. The hotel is the only hostelry in the village and popular with the locals, so if you don't want to travel in the evening, there is only the option of dining here.

Very friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. Had dinner and breakfast, both were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. For a 1 star hotel this was excellent.

Get there before sundown since it's tough to find in the dark. Owner was the sweetest and friendliest man. Carries your luggage. In the country a few miles off the i teratate so once the bullfrog chorus stopped it was completely quiet. Lovely night's sleep.

This hotel is in a small country community about a 15 minute drive south of Figueres (Dali Museum). Staff was very friendly and large room was very comfortable. We had a good meal at the well attended hotel restaurant and we could have driven into the small town of Bascara if we wanted more choices.

Quiet family run hotel in a developing area. Room basic but spotlessly clean. Very good evening meal at an excellent price. Wine cheap but gin and tonic expensive.

according to expedia this is a 2 star hotel, when you arrive at the hotel you will see fixed to the wall a sign which clearly says 1 star. This is a good 1 star hotel.

This establishment is run by warm and friendly Chevy and his family. We felt very much at home and became instant friends with them. They are a wealth of information for local activities and they make great food and espresso! Out of the way and in a peaceful rural area and yet close to all of the Dali activities and Girona.

We had a great evening at this authentic Catalonian country Inn. I think we were the only tourists there that evening, but the hosts were incredibly kind and open and spoke good English. The low cost, plus fine food and extremely friendly and accommodating staff, made this stay memorable. One problem is that is is about 3 km south of the town of Bascara. Our GPS couldn't direct us the last few kms and the signs were minimal, but Google Maps found it for us. So, one really needs a car to experience this hotel.
