Incredible view of stars at night, and straight ahead in distance is town of Trujillo, our favorite of many cities and towns visited for its ambience. Very convenience location for us to visit Trujillo and Caceres on our way south to Zafra and Sevilla. A nice break from in-city accommodations. It's a rambling 14 room hotel and there is nothing around but cows and empty fields. Very peaceful. Room very clean and hot shower and great bed and sheets. The owner Francisco is very nice. Outside of building could use fresh paint, but inside decor and rooms are great, same quality as many paradores.

The directions from Hotels.com website does not get you within 8 kilometres. The staff have no English and were not able to help with directions. We got directions from another hotel thankfully.

Well if you like quirky, unusual and interesting places to stay, this is the Hotel for you ! It is a bird watchers paradise, but because of this, it is a bit out in the wilds, and we struggled to find it. The rooms are spartan but clean. Don't expect to get a menu if you choose the evening meal, you get whatever the Lady of the house decides to cook. Having said that, we enjoyed the three course meal she provided, but think it was a bit pricey at 20 Euros a head. The entertainment comes from watching the local wildlife, and there is plenty of it, a local deserted building provides home for more Herons than I have ever seen in one place. The gardens also provide a haven for lots of other locals birds. It's an experience !

Very friendly, family run, hotel set in rural Spain. This provided the ideal location for our stay which was primarily to watch the local birds and wildlife. The family were very knowlegible of both the birds and where to watch them. Breakfast was included in our stay with the option for an evening meal. The latter comprised of local specialities and was well prepared.

Have stayed here before - this time for 4 nights. Great place outside of town, although feels remote is ideal if you want to get away from the noise. Rooms basic but spotless clean and comfortable, ensuite bathroom. Enjoyed very much home cooked typical evening meals. Exceptional value for money with very nice people.

The room was unadorned and plain but large with windows in two directions. The manager (owner?) was helpful but sometimes provided inconsistent information, such as about eating times. He was very helpful in directing guests to scope views of birds such as Little Bustard, Great Spotted Cuckoo and Little Owl and in talking about places very near the hotel to see other birds.

La estancia magnífica al igual que el entorno , el desayuno estupendo y el personal amable y atento muy pendiente de todas las necesidades así como de explicarnos que actividades realizar en la zona.

No dispone de aire acondicionado y en Trujillo con 35 grados por la noche fue bastante difícil dormir. Llegamos pasadas las 9 de la noche con intención de cenar algo, ya que ofrecía en la oferta servicio de restaurante y no existía tal servicio, por lo que nos tuvimos que desplazar a 11 km. para poder cenar, lo cual después de 5 horas de viaje no nos apetecía demasiado. El estado de la casa, tanto interior como exterior, está bastante dejado.

Erinomainen paikka tutustua espanjalaisiin lintuihin, mm Isotrappi löytyi n, 300 metrin kävelyn päässä majatalosta. Matka/paikka on aika hankala löytää, koska esim. Googlen kartta näyttää sille väärän paikan. Tässäpä ohje;Trujillosta tietä EX 208 pohjoiseen ja sitten parin kilometrin päästä vasemmalle, tielle CC 128 ja sitä n. 6 km verran. Tien varressa on selvästi näkyvä kyltti ohjaa vasemmalle, eli talon pihaan. Huom! Kannattaa varmistaa, että omistajan äiti on paikalla, koska muutoin ei ole ruokaa tarjolla! Ruuan voi tilata kyllä etukäteenkin ja kokeilla onneaan:-))

Dit hotel is een prima vertrekpunt voor natuurliefhebbers, met name vogelaars. Ligging is geweldig, uitzicht fantastisch. Gieren en trappen zijn vanaf ontbijtkamer te zien als ze langs vliegen. De ooievaarsnesten zijn ruim aanwezig met zo'n 40 paar in de tuin. Geweldige plek om te zijn. Alleen een tafel en extra stoel ontbrak in de kamer.

Habitación espaciosa, algo austera, la cama estaba limpia, la ducha no, tranquilidad absoluta. Se echa de menos un estante en el baño para dejar los productos de higiene personal y una percha para colgar las toallas de ducha. También sería de agradecer un vaso para los cepillos de dientes. No había ni gel ni champú.

Fågelresa två personer-helt fantastisk "tomtlista". Personalen kunde inte så bra engelska, men det gick någotsånär. Litet enkel mat, t ex frukosten, men duger. Middagen på kvällen traditionell spansk (?) kött eller fisk, aldrig potatis till maten, portionerna färdiga till storleken (för mycket kött). Men det var ganska gott. Fast middagen tycker jag var dyr (20 euro + dryck per person) Det kan kosta hälften på billiga ställen i samhällena runtomkring sägs det. Med tanke på ganska enkel standard så tycker jag det var dyrt. Det är ett fantastiskt ställe för den som är naturintresserad, och personalen var trevlig och personlig. Lakansbyte under en vecka onödigt. Hellre handduksbyte.
