Very helpful staff at reception, even went outside and met me at a crossroads for direction to car park which is under the hotel and secure. The car park is well signed. Restaurant closed permanently and only a coffee machine remains. Crisps and a few warm drinks (no fridge in reception) only thing available. Looked like plenty of options nearby though. Large comfortable room which was spotless apart.

The two ladies at the front desk were SO wonderful. They helped me out on a couple items. I am walking the Camino. Quiet! The best sleep I have gotten in a week. Thank you from the USA

Apathetic attitude/unhelpful service. Requested a double bed and received two singles. Poor maintenance, fridge in room did not work. Extremely hot in shower and could not adjust.

Nice hotel. Good room. Very useful if you are visiting Bilbao, good secure parking and only a few minutes walk from metro. Boring breakfast.

The local people, in Basauri, where unfailingly welcoming and very proud to consider themselves Basque rather than Spanish. It's a working class suburb of Bilbao, and doesnt get many tourists, but it's all the better for that. Lots of small bars, frequented by locals of all ages, and tapas aplenty, all at really reasonable prices for UK tourists used to high Eurozone costs. Its also really easy to get the tube in to Bilbao for the day, only 20 mins journey time, and a really clean, well managed, railway system. Biggest impression from my trip? How freindly and welcoming the local Basque population are.

We stayed just one night here en route to the Ferry back to the UK. We had our two large golden retriever dogs with us. The hotel had overlooked this fact in our booking, but were VERY accommodating & immediately sorted our dog friendly room out. Which was HUGE, very comfortable for all, with a lovely balcony for us all to enjoy! They could not have been more helpful. We were unable to eat in the restaurant due to the dogs not able to be left alone in our room (too nervous!) so the hotel staff directed us where we might go and were so kind to sort out our breakfast to have in our room in the morning. We could not rate this hotel higher - it was great. Staff were super! They also directed us to lovely areas where we could walk the dogs. You definitely need satnat to find it, and when near, keep your eye open for the "Hotel Armine" direction signs when near.

2 night stay visiting Bilboa, easy to get to from hotel via metro. As we had a car it was necessary to stay outside of the city. Very impressed with Bilbao.

Nice hotel, out of the crowded city, a bit confusing to find it, but GPS worked out nicely, close to 2 metro stations, clean, great staff, restaurant and bar is very good, great tapas and pinchos.

Hotel was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were friendly helpful and the whole experience (we have a 35kilo boxer dog staying with us) was great. Often hotels puts guests with dog in very basic rooms, Ours was clean, comfortable and quality.

Schönes Hotel, leider ist das fantastische Restaurant inzwischen geschlossen. - Somit gibt es auch kein Frühstück mehr im Hotel. Das ist sehr schade, da ich als Vielreisender grossen Wert auf ein Frühstück lege. In Laufweite gibt es natürlich spanisch-typische Bars wo man für wenig Geld frühstücken kann, aber das ist für mich keine Lösung. Das Hotel ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand.

Dado lo complicado de aparcar en la zona, deberían habilitar un aparcamiento gratuito para clientes. Habiendo pagado 160€ por la estancia de una noche no me parece nada descabellado.
