We stayed for two nights. The first night was okay because the view in front of the room was so beautiful, so I liked sitting on the terrace of the room. The staff was also quick to respond when I said the bathroom smelled bad, immediately provided toilet freshener. But the second night was worse because around 9 pm, the guest in the room next to us was grilling fish in front of their room, which was only about two meters from ours. And they said they had received permission from the Villa Takasima staff. The smoke was very disturbing and my child who was sleeping in the room also felt suffocated because the smoke wafted into the room. Moreover, I couldn't sit on the terrace enjoying the view because of the smoke from the neighbor's grill. I went to the receptionist to complain, but the room was locked and when I knocked, no one answered, only the night light was on in the reception area. Then I went to the security post, and the situation was the same. Even though they said the receptionist was on standby 24 hours. I called the cellphone number given by the receptionist at check-in and told them if we needed anything, they could call them. But after several calls, no one answered. I also didn't get a reply to my WhatsApp chat, even though my status was "read"... oh dear, so that night we slept in smoke and the smell of fish like in a traditional market. Even until check-out the next day, the receptionist didn't say anything about my complaint about the smoke bothering us, even though I had explained it at length in the WhatsApp chat. I was so tired of staying here. It's a shame to have a nice view if there's no comfort to sleep in.
