If you just want to be left alone and you don’t need anything from a traditional hotel staff, this is the place for you. Nobody on site, which I was fine with. A bit corporate (boring), but clean and in a good location. I’d stay again.

Staying at Smithe House was such a great experience, and we truly loved it. It’s very conveniently located in downtown Vancouver—very clean, organized, and super comfortable.

There is definitely no complaint about the location and the cleanliness. But the water flow of the shower head is too weak. The ladder of the bunker bed is made of thin metal bars, therefore it is hard and dangerous to climb up and down. Finally if a bath tub is available, it will be much better. Anyway, it is a nice stay.

I didnt need the air conditioning but the temperature was pretty good.

Spacious, very clean w/minimalist decor. Went for a girls’ trip and everyone said they’d come back. Great location- near shops, nightlife, & cafes. Our room had two bedrooms & 1.5 bathrooms - great for family or group of 4! I only change is that they would add onsite EV charging.

Excellent location to BC Place. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and events.

Felt like home away from home. I will be staying here every time I go to Vancouver.

A very nice hotel in a great location, however I booked a 1 Bedroom apt and the unit did not match the pictures online. The bedroom was only separated from the lining aera by a pair sliding glass doors and the dining area was under the TV. So not as expected, especially considering the premium price.

It was not stated that this is unattended hotel with no front desk. When we arrived, we needed a code to get in which was not provided so we had to pay a taxi to take us there and then turn around and go back to the airport. We were billed but i have disputed the charge since we could not get in the room.

Clean well appointed room. Had everything we needed. Great clear, check-in instructions as well as parking instructions.
