The hotel was excellent and the staff was also amazing! They helped us coordinate transportation and give recommendations. Really went above and beyond. Would definitely come here again!

Beautiful hotel with very nice staff. Spectacular view. Room was nice but with a very tiny bathroom : additionnal hooks (only one) to suspend towels or cloth would be a plus.

Beautiful location, great rooms. Downfall is breakfast doesn't start until 8am, so if you have any early mornings you don't even get a coffee! I would have thought with a late opening breakfast and a restaurant that is closed a few days a week they should have a few food/drinks available for sale. No store nearby either. The hotel has a shuttle and they charge you to go into Antigua. Overall it's a nice place but definitely could improve in a few areas.

Breakfast opens too late for excursions, so you couldn’t even get a coffee in the morning. The staff was very helpful

This place is so beautiful and quiet. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The court yard is such an amazing amenities where we laid in the grass and watched the volcano erupt. I really enjoyed this place just wish the water was hotter in the shower. Also server Leslie was great!!

Our stay was great. The staff were very accommodating and gave great service throughout the entire stay. If it was anything that needed to be addressed they addressed it immediately. Breakfast was cooked every morning to order and it was a real treat. Views are amazing and the location was great. Overall great experience.

Good food, great staff, crazy views

Tuvimos una estadia placentera en el hotel. Los empleados muy amables y serviciales. El recepcionista Christian nos compartio sugerencias de actividades que hacer en la zona. Ademas, no esta tan lejos de Antigua. Muy recomendado el hotel. Es un lugar tranquilo con una vista increible al volvan del Agua.

Our stay at The Mestizo Cortijo Hotel was extremely frustrating. Shortly after arrival, the bathroom sink leaked and flooded the floor. Instead of fixing it, the receptionist blamed us and told us to use the public restroom. The issue was never repaired, and for two days we could not use the sink or shower due to no hot water in the building. Things worsened when water began leaking from the ceiling, soaking the bed and floor. We were moved to another room only after insisting, but it was dirty, cold, dark, and still had no hot water. We went several days without a proper shower. The hotel appeared to have only one staff member handling everything, and management was unresponsive. A bottle of wine was offered, which did not come close to compensating for the experience. We would not recommend this hotel and believe a partial refund is justified.

Great place awesome rooms

The check in process was good. Property was beautiful but there was literally no hot water and even after I complained it was not fixed. Breakfast which they said was free was a joke. They didn’t even have fresh fruits or juice. Only black coffee. No coffee maker in room. I had to wait till 9 am for my coffee. For the exorbitant amount I paid i did not get the value for money. I demand one night refund.

The room seemed dated. On the last night of my stay there was some event happening on the hotel property. There was extremely loud music and singing and it went on until 1am and I could hear it from my room

The hotels on a main road and is extremely loud in the rooms. Otherwise, the view is beautiful.

It was a beautiful place! My room was perfect and the views were amazing. However, I was unaware how loud the area could be. There’s a field behind the hotel where a concert of some sort took place one of the nights I was there. Other than all the noise, the place was fantastic

The room lived up to its expectation.

El personal es muy amable y nos dieron atención personalizada. Nos recibieron con un cóctel de bienvenida. Nuestra habitación estaba impecable, la cama muy cómoda al igual que las almohadas, el agua de la ducha salió caliente y a buena presión. Tienen amplio parqueo y el desayuno estaba delicioso. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

I enjoyed my stay there. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely go back.
